Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don't miss the futuristic main library. Seattle's twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.
see all hotels in SeattleWonderful.... however, I do agree with many... the beds were horrible (unless you like a very very firm bed). The view was beautiful and the staff... so amazingly helpful, kind and excellent service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will stay here again!!!!"
This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Seattle. Wonderful customer service by all the staff, loved our puppies, and great room. Had a romantic getaway for our anniversary and everyone there made us feel very welcome. 5 stars!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect After a Romantic Night on the Town, Quiet!"
We booked here to cap off our night on the town/anniversary. Check in was quick and simple. Aside from the usual, they made sure we knew about wi-fi access and how to get in touch if we needed any late night service. I booked this largely because of the bathroom. Even in the basic rooms, it has a very large, deep soaking tub. It would be nice to have […] a door separating the sink from the toilet, but that was a minor quip. From the bathroom, there are sliding panels that open up to the room. I seriously considered watching TV from the tub, but opted to plug my phone into the MP3 dock (iPod and aux connection). The bed was comfortable, but very firm. The Queen bed room that we booked didn't have a lounge chair/sofa to sit on. There was a desk/desk chair, along with another chair in the corner. It wasn't comfortable enough where you'd want to watch TV from it or sit for an extended period reading. For an overnight stay, this is, again, a minor quip. As an added bonus, there is a Starbucks immediately outside the entrance. The only thing that was disappointing was the parking. There is a garage for guests and they do offer validated parking, although the rates were pretty high even in the city. We opted for street parking since it's a quiet neighborhood and I just woke up before 8am to put 4 hours on the meter. It gave us ample time to check out and was a fraction of the parking costs. If you can get valet/parking included with your rate, all the better. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Seattle wedding stay"
Beautiful rooms, fun view, wish I had had more time to try the spa and hot tub. Loved having a nice bath that opened up to the room. the room was spacious, clean, and perfect for a romantic getaway. The staff even left us a card wishing us happy anniversary which was a nice touch. They honored our wishes to be on a top floor. I had a conference call […] in the morning and wireless worked perfectly, Thank you for the stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thank you"
We had a great time. I liked how the Pan Pacific gave us a personalized thank you card, which their staff hand signed, and a couple of truffles. Nice touch. Very friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, great staff"
Just a wonderful stay. The Pan Pacific upgraded our room so we had a slightly larger room and bath suite, which was very nice. The location was pretty good, with a Whole Foods downstairs, a SeaStar on one side and a Starbucks on the other. Some commenters have mentioned the very firm bed and we found that to be true as well. Surprisingly, we slept very […] well despite our misgivings. We attended a birthday party in a top floor suite and the view was great. The hotel staff bent over backwards to make the party as enjoyable as possible. Great hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close, but not quite great"
Loved the layout of the room and we were able to see the space needle from the window- a real plus New Years Eve with fireworks going off! Unfortunately the relaxing hot tub was a walk across the street which did not happen with freezing temperatures that dissuaded us. Shower was a cool design, but not functional :( Had to prop up the shower head and […] water ran all over the bathroom floor. Likely won't return despite the awesome location. "Very nice hotel and friendly staff"
We had a nice stay at the Pan Pacific Seattle. My wife thought the bed was a bit too firm, but I really liked it. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. We had one breakfast at the hotel and while a bit pricey, the food and the service were both good. The hotel was about equal distance from downtown and the Space Needle so we could walk […] to both areas. We went to the Metropolitan Grill one night and we did need a cab to get there, but we walked most other places. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful destination"
We were staying overnight in Seattle to mark our wedding anniversary and because we had an event we were attending the next day. The hotel is first rate, but the staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and to welcome us and recognize our anniversary. I would strongly recommend the Pan Pacific.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect Luxury"
We stayed at the Pan Pacific for our wedding night. The service provided by the staff was excellent. They took care of all our needs and even brought us complementary champagne and chocolate truffles. They took care of all our bags and the staff was very friendly and the service was defiantly 5 star. We would book there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nearly Equidistant to Space Needle and Pikes"
Enjoyable location, short walk to monorail up to Space Needle/Chihuly museum in one direction, and the bus service to Pikes Public Market. The fareless square was still in effect as of this review time, but even without that perk, it's a good location. The only complaint was lack of clarity regarding parking. We were given a fine in addition to the […] normal parking rate in the overnight parking structure near the hotel parking entrance. I would advise requesting hotel clarification on this point. "Just another nice hotel"
Maybe I'm jaded but the hotel was about what I expect from a hotel - in spite of their higher than norm prices. Most disappointing was getting stuck on the 8th floor facing the condos instead of the 11th as we were promised by hotels.com. Things were nice - except for the one time a staff person came in using his key while we were there! The mini fridge […] came in handy (just ask and they will empty all their ridiculously priced stuff to make room for you - and avoid any question of charges) but a microwave would have been a nice touch. The front desk folks were super; the door guys much less so. The 2 most helpful things were: the extended hours Whole Foods & the hotel validates 2 hr parking in the adjacent garage. (The garage rates are HIGH - lots of lower priced ones nearby.) Never did make it to the exercise room or the restaurant so can't comment. The 2 restaurants next door looked good & convenient - but we didn't try them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice property"
We stayed one night before leaving for a cruise and then returned for the weekend following our cruise. The property is quite nice, very clean and well maintained. It has a great seafood restaurant next door where we enjoyed a very nice dinner and cocktails. The staff of the hotel is outstanding! We were celebrating an anniversary and they upgraded […] our room to a junior suite. They were always very friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about the level of service provided by the staff. The immediate neighborhood wasn't bad, but we were able to easily walk to Pike's Place and other neighborhoods for shopping and restaurants. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Pan Pacific and would definitely stay there the next time we're in Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Definitely worth the rate!"
This is an absolutely fantastic hotel. Very much worth the rate. The rooms are clean and comfortable and its proximity to the space needle makes it great if this is your area of choice. It's a little ways away from the center of the city which makes it a bit less than ideal, but it's just a short walk away. I would highly recommend this place if you […] don't want to stay right in the middle of downtown Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Seattle Adventure --Pan Pacific"
This hotel was wonderful! The hotel is located on a small block of convenience. There is a little bit of everything close by. The room was very comfy and romantic. "Beautiful hotel - wish it were a few blocks closer"
I was very impressed with this hotel. it was clean, comfortable, our bathroom was AMAZING with a big separate tub. The location is just a little too far from the things we like to do in Seattle. I would have liked to walk to Pike Place, etc and we ended up cabbing. A tip - the pizza place next door has horrible service and mediocre food. Go a little […] farther for something better. We wondered why the hotel staff didn't recommend it when we asked for something close - now we know! But the drink we had in the hotel bar was delicious. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pan Pacific Seattle"
I really liked the bathroom at the Pan Pacific Seattle because it opens into the room so I can watch tv while taking a bath at the same time! We got the top floor room so the view was decent. We arrived on Christmas Day so everything was closed, but I would think it's a convenient location because there were a few stores (probably a supermarket too) […] just downstairs. I was totally surprised at the parking fee ($39/night!!!!) but luckily street parking was free on a holiday and the subsequent day. Otherwise, I think it may be tough to find street parking on a normal day. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic Pan Pac Property for Walkers"
Everything you've read about the Pac Pacific Seattle on TripAdvisor and Hotels.com is true. It is most definitely, 100% (1) an excellent service hotel with (2) fantastic bathrooms & beds and (3) a refreshing jaunt away from everything downtown. My wife and I visited for our anniversary and got a free room upgrade compliments of the sharp front desk […] agent and concierge, Joe (plus a $10 certificate for Sea Star restaurant downstairs which was wonderful). Coming off the red-eye from Honolulu at 6am, were were also extremely pleased that we were allowed to check in immediately rather than at 4pm - a whole extra day that saved our backs after a rough night on the plane. When the hotel's Director of Operations meets you at the front desk and gives you his personal card, you know they care about meeting guests' needs. The bed and bath are incredible. I liken the bed to the ones at the Westin Maui and Halekulani (Leading Hotels of the World); heavenly. Always put us right to sleep in minutes. The tub was a better soaking experience than even at ryokan and homes I've stayed at in Japan (and we both love love love Japanese baths). Along with the hotel's aesthetic, the design of the rooms and the service level was very Japanese, or pan-asian, if you prefer. It comes across as an Asian hotel, not an American one. I'd like to keep this our little secret but Seattle in late November was actually very pleasant. Small crowds everywhere we went and we obviously benefited from this at the hotel with our super early check-in and no-charge late checkout (2pm, thanks Kevin!). We had no trouble walking from the end of the LINK light rail at Westlake Center down to the hotel, suitcases in tow. If you must, a small tram runs from right in front of Westlake Center up to the hotel and on to Lake Union but we only rode this once on the way back to the airport as we were in a rush. Everyone mentions the Whole Foods downstairs but not Enterprise Rent-A-Car! We picked up a car there for nice Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"had higher expectations for only pan pacific in US"
My wife and i stayed here during thanksgiving weekend 2011. The room was nice but did have some drawbacks. The major one was air leakage in our room. There was a beautiful view of the space needle from an angle bit during the night, coldness emanated from the window area despite use of curtains. I set the temperature at 71 during the nighttime but upon […] waking found room temp to be 62f to 63f every morning, which was very cold and also drying on my sinuses. Hotel didn't have a vaporizer/humidifier for use which is not surprising. They did offer an air purifier, which is useless, and did not offer anything that would help or change of room. Other things that should have been there, especially for this caliber hotel and price range: make up/shaving mirror, jets in tub, scale, better toiletries/amenities in bathroom (they could learn a lot from other hotels like fairmonts around the States or especially the Langham hotels around the world). Probably will not stay here again unless major upscaling is done. But they did have a beautifully decorated lobby and friendly staff. It was also nice to have Whole Foods nearby for snacks and drinks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"BETTER FOR MUCH LESS"
So, my wife and I planned a weekend away. We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Bremerton and had a Fantastic room, view and time. That was Friday night. Saturday, we stayed at the Pan Pacific. Room was twice as much, the view in their "view" room sucked, and it was much smaller. Needless to say, we will never stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Satisfied, in the end"
We booked this as part of a romantic stay while visiting Seattle. Slightly longer walk to the main attractions than other places and just outside the free-zone for Seattle public transportation, but it's not a hike. Just above a Whole Foods and just down the street from the REI flagship. The sliding wooden doors to cover the view from the bath to the […] city is the same doors to separate the bedroom from the bathroom. Let me tell you, one hears everything. The only complaint is that the bed was just ok--far from what we expected of a hotel this caliber. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

A really excellent hotel. I usually like a bit lower price for my hotel choices, but the quality of care was so excellent, top class room service, delicious meal. The employees were courteous and helpful. The location is really great, right on Denny Way. We went to Seattle for a concert and just wanted to stay the night. I chose Pan Pacific because of all the positive reviews, and also it isn't listed as having a bed bug problem (still checked though, & there weren't any :) It was a really nice hotel (kinda spendy, but you get what you pay for) The room was very nice, the only thing that we thought […] was weird was it didn't have cable T.V. just analog, oh and pay per view. The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff so friendly. We brought our two labs along with us and while we were on our dinner cruise, we left out labs in the car, and the valet treated them so good, making sure they had water and also wanted to know them by name. "Pan Pacific Seattle...a must stay!!!!!"
Stayed over Mother's day weekend. Rooms were beautiful, clean and easy to fall dead asleep in:) Hotel is very nice and well appointed...what I expected from this chain. What made the difference was the unbelieveable staff!! They were smiling, courteous, friendly and nothing was EVER a problem! Door men, front desk were all incredible. As a side note, […] accidentally left my cell phone in the lobby after returning home on the ferry. I called the front desk, talked to reception and within minutes had made arrangements to have my phone shipped to my house. It arrived after 2 days and was meticulously packed.
