Located in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood, the Mediterranean Inn is 1 block from the Key Arena, 2 blocks from the Seattle Center, and 1 mile from downtown's Pike Place Market. Safeco Field and CenturyLink Field are about 2.5 miles away.
Hotel Features.
The smoke-free Mediterranean Inn offers a rooftop sundeck with Adirondack chairs and panoramic views of the Space Needle and the ferries crossing Elliott Bay. A Starbucks coffee shop adjoins the lobby. Popular for extended stays, the hotel provides a 24-hour laundry room with six coin-operated washers and dryers. A 24-hour business center is also on site, and a meeting room has 149 square feet (72 square meters) of event space. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby.

Guestrooms feature kitchenettes with granite countertops, sinks, microwaves, compact refrigerators, coffeemakers, and in-room safe. LCD TVs come with premium cable channels and DVD players. "Excellent for the price!"
This was an excellent hotel. I was surprised at how good it was for the price. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants in the area. The walk to Seattle Center was very short and the weather was excellent during our stay. The free coffee, bottled water and popcorn was very nice to have. All front desk personnnel and manager were extremely friendly and helpful. We parked here and didn't move the car til we checked out. 2 blocks (max) to Seattle Center. "Great if you get a deal"
Great location, two blocks from Key Arena side of Seattle Centre. Numerous great restaurants within one block radius. Starbucks (with wireless) right off the hotel lobby. The hotel is pleasantly appointed in a modern Mediterranean theme. "Kitchenette" is just a sink, microwave and mini-fridge, but we were able to get cutlery and dishware by request. […] Free brewable Starbucks and Tazo teas, as well microwaveable popcorn. Bed was comfortable, DVD player in the room, bathroom small but clean and well-appointed. Our room was was very quiet... ask for rooms NOT overlooking Queen Anne Avenue or Republican Street to reduce traffic noise. The business centre is right beside Starbucks and is bright: big windows look onto the street, has a small meeting table. There are several computers that send to a printer, and a couple more in the lobby that don't print but are still handy. Exercise room and meeting rooms (we did not check those out) . Parking $15/night; in-room internet $5/night. Front desk and cleaning staff were, without fail, incredibly charming and helpful and worth the visit alone. Bottom line: not luxury, but fair enough given it's not a luxury hotel; we were incredibly pleased with service, facilities and location, given that we were paying under $100 a night (but please note that was on sale at between 35 and 45% off). This is an older hotel, and the rooms are a little smaller than you might be used to... but everything was VERY WELL maintained, and clean. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel staff was always incredibly helpful at all hours of the day. Even though the room was small, it was very cozy and included all amenities necessary for a long stay (mini fridge, microwave, TV, DVD player). The location was perfect. Easy to get all over the city and plenty of bus stops right by the hotel. The only down side was the internet […] was not entirely reliable and didn't work at all on mobile devices such as my phone and iPod. "Nice hotel-close to Space Needle"
I had a nice 5 day stay here over the Christmas holidays! The hotel is super-conveniently located within walking distance to the fabulous Space Needle and Seattle Center as well as many restaurants & shops. The hotel was offering such a great low rate that I feared I may end up with a noisy, ill-placed room but much to my delight, that was not the case […] at all! I had a nice small-ish, but well appointed room with a little kitchenette, good sized bathrm, with tub. Don't miss the fabulous views from their roof-top deck! They even loan out umbrellas for walking in Seattle's famous rain! The only negatives I found were very slow elevators and that the $15. per night parking garage below was a real challenge due to it's ultra-tiny parking spaces, 4 to 6 of which are taken up by old cars in various states of restoration (odd ?)-sometimes I had to park on the street even though I had already paid for the garage. I stayed here with my husband and toddler during a recent vacation in the area. We lived just up Queen Anne hill recently, and booked the hotel based on its location and easy access to lots of Seattle attractions. It's a great base if you expect to hit the Space Needle, any Seattle Center activity, or want to access the very convenient downtown-serving […] bus lines (many leave from just a block or 2 from the hotel). Super friendly staff, relatively easy street parking, close walking distance to large Metroplitan Market and Safeway grocery stores (if you want to take a break from restaurants for a few meals - the rooms have fridges, microwaves, and coffee), and the nice hotel deck are all great bonuses. You can't beat the combination of location and price if you don't require something fancy. In fact, after staying here a few nights at the beginning of our trip, we returned at the tail end as well. The Mediterranean Inn was a great neighborhood hotel. I picked this place because I was not going to rent a car for our stay. We were within a block and a half from the Key Arena and all that surrounds it (Space Needle, museums, etc.) We were able to catch the buses and go everywhere we needed to, even to UW.
