"Great for just hanging out in Seattle for the week"
My husband and i stayed at the Suites for a weekend away without the kids. The room was clean and a decent size. Was great to have a little fridge and microwave. The bed was a bit springy for me, but the pile of pillows made up for it. We enjoyed the convenience of having a full breakfast offered by the hotel as well as little snacks offered on each […] floor by the elevator. Truth be told i snuck some chocolate milk, fruit and yougurt back into my room for an evening snack. It was one last thing that we had to worry about... wake up- eat and go! however, we were there during a big convention in the city and found the breakfast area very chaotic and too busy for the morning. the layout is not designed for that purpose and if was challenging, hot , stuffy and too many people bumping into eachother and stepping on toes. But the food was much better than i had expected for a free breaky. The concierge, valet and front desk CSR's were fantastic. Very friendly, competant and efficient. We enjoy walking so we didn't mind the distance to the heart of the city, we could still walk to pike place, and up through the shopping district and convetion centre. "You get what you pay for"
It was the most inexpensive hotel when I was looking to book near Seattle Center over the Labour Day weekend and I wasn't expecting superior service or a brand new/newly renovated hotel. The service was mediocre/unpredictable. Sometimes you would get a very helpful and knowledgeable staff member and other times they seemed pretty bored with life! The […] rooms were relatively clean. The GREAT thing about the place was that they offered a free HOT breakfast in the morning! That made the stay completely worth while. Also they had a shuttle that took you to and from downtown and into Seattle Centre. You could even walk to those destinations from there it was so close.
