Situated in Seattle, Wash., the Grand Hyatt Seattle is adjacent to Washington State Convention & Trade Center, two blocks from Pacific Place, and seven blocks from Seattle Art Museum.

Opened in 2001 and completely renovated in 2011, the Grand Hyatt Seattle features a sauna, spa tub steam room, wireless Internet access for a fee, and a shuttle. Dining options include Ruth's Chris Steak House serving prime steaks and New Orleans-style seafood.
Guests have access to a business center. 21 small meeting rooms are also available. Beauty services include a salon.
A 3,800-square-foot fitness and health center with locker room, showers and massage rooms is open 24 hours and is available on site. Pets, dogs only, are accepted in specific rooms only. Maximum number of pets per room: 2, pet maximum weight in pounds is 50.

Brazilian cherry-wood floors, koa-wood doors, mirrored walls, and premium equipment distinguish the hotel's 3,800-square-foot 24-hour health club. Cardiovascular machines have personal TV monitors and complimentary headsets. The club also offers a locker room with showers, a steam room, a sauna, a spa tub, and two massage rooms. The hotel provides discounted access to a health club across the street, which has a full-size lap pool.

Excellent location. Everything is within walking distance. Right in the center of shopping and dinning area, one block from the link rail station to airport and six blocks away from Market Place. Our stay was amazing. Had a room on the 25th floor, but my husband had a touch of vertigo so we requested a room change to lower level. They quickly sent someone up with new keys and escorted us to our new room. Breakfast in bed was included with our stay and so worth it! Best Eggs Benedict I've had in my life! We chose the grand hyatt because of its location to everything in downtown Seattle.. I called prior to check in and asked about possibly getting a room with a view of the water and mentioned it was our anniversary and she stated that she didnt think they would have a room open but she'd make a note of the request. When we checked in Julie welcomed us […] and and told us she had a corner suit available for us and upgraded our room at no charge. "The heart of Seattle"
The Grand Hyatt Seattle was the best hotel experiance I have ever had. I am a local from the Pacific Northwest and stayed in Seattle just for fun. My wife and I had the best nights sleep from any hotel we stayed at and we have stayed at a lot of hotels. We arrived three hours ahead of check-in time and they were able to check us in to a room which was great for my wife and I. The view was great and the location was even better. We were blocks away from Pikes Market, shopping, and only two blocks away from the Monorail, which takes you to Seattle Center (Space Needle, Music Museum, etc.). My wife and I booked a room for two nights at the Grand Hyatt to enjoy a bit of vacation time following a business meeting. I have stayed at a lot of nice hotels around the country and this one definitely rates up there with the best of them. The room was newly redone and was exquisite. It was large and had all the amenities and the bath was gorgeous. […] All the common areas of the hotel have been redone as well in rich wood paneling and marble floors and contemporary furnishings and decor. Service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Be prepared to pay for parking though if you have a car. The adjoinning self park garage is $30 per night and valet parking is $41. "Very happy with our stay"
It was our first time visiting Seattle and I'm glad we picked the Grand Hyatt. The staff was very welcoming the moment we stepped inside to check in. The room was very nice and I absolutely loved the huge tub! They also had a privacy button that you can turn on so house keeping doesn't disturb you. It was nice grabbing a starbucks right in the lobby […] each morning, even though they provide a coffee maker in the room. Be careful not to remove anything from the fridge, they have sensors so if something is removed, they know immediately! The fitness room was very impressive, they provided cold towels, lots of workout equipment, headphones and it is open 24 hours. They also had a sauna that we wanted to use, but it's not available after a certain time so we weren't able to get a chance to check that out. The only thing that I didn't like was being able to hear someone close their hotel room door. They are loud! We woke up numerous times in the morning because the doors are heavy and slam shut hard and loud. That got old very quick! If you are a light sleeper, I suggest taking an advil pm or some earplugs. For the most part, we had a lovely time at this hotel. It was beautiful inside and so conveniently located near all the things we wanted to do. Our only complaint was that the room next door had a dog in it that would bark loudly at the door off and on and even at night. Also, the flooring right inside each room was marble/stone and we could hear women […] in heels walking around in their room when we were trying to sleep. Lastly the doors are heavy and slam when people enter/exit which was also very loud when trying to sleep. "A bit of a hit 'n miss with this hotel"
This was a late booking for a quick getaway and I wish I had known there was an anime convention around the corner. Talk about craziness with the hundreds of kids everywhere. Okay, back on topic. This was an okay situation. Our room did not have a microwave or a fridge (we asked for both) yet there were none to be had. We finally got a microwave late […] in the evening and it blew the circuit for the desk, lamp and phone. Lovely! The room was very clean, the bathroom was gorgeous (seriously, best I have seen in years) and the room was quiet.
