Stay was okay for the most part. Three separate incidents made the stay a bit less comfortable than it should've been. 1. the first room assigned has... long human hair all over the bathroom. 2. the second room assigned had urine stains dripping down the toilet. 3. We were locked out of the room for over 2 hours by a faulty lock and it took 3 trips down to front desk and two phone calls to the staff to get it resolved. Opened in 2001 and completely renovated in 2011, the Grand Hyatt Seattle features a sauna, spa tub steam room, wireless Internet access for a fee, and a shuttle. Dining options include Ruth's Chris Steak House serving prime steaks and New Orleans-style seafood.

Guests have access to a business center. 21 small meeting rooms are also available. Beauty services include a salon.

A 3,800-square-foot fitness and health center with locker room, showers and massage rooms is open 24 hours and is available on site.

The hotel was not unique, but it was beautiful. The room was so nice and comfortable. The window was huge and we had a view of other buildings but I don't typically care about the view from the room in a big city because we don't spend much time in the room. The bathroom was amazing. My 7 year old loved the big, deep bathtub with the waterfall faucet. […] The shower was large and had great water pressure. The king bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom, room and hotel in general was very clean. The location of the hotel couldn't be beat. We arrived via light rail from the airport and walked to the hotel a short block and a half away. The walk to Pike Place Market is very easy and quick. We also walked to the Space Needle, though we chose to take the monorail once we learned that in less than 5 minutes we could take it from the location of the light rail a block and a half away straight to Seattle Center. For food (chain restaurants), there is a McDonald's just up the street, The Cheesecake Factory right behind the hotel and PF Changs up the street. One of the main reasons I selected this hotel was because I needed to rent a car to drive upstate for a day. Hertz is right behind the hotel and shares the parking garage. It is an easy shot to the freeway. Every staff member that I encountered at the hotel was friendly and helpful. This is definitely a hotel I will book again if I return to Seattle. Read more

This hotel is located in the heart of Seattle, which made it very easy to get to all the local hot spots, attractions and shopping. The service at the hotel was excellent and the room was very modern and nice. The hotel has a full Starbucks attached for those that like their speciality coffee drinks. The gym at the hotel was excellent and includes a […] hot tub, sauna and steam room....all of which were fantastic! Everything was great except the beds. We had two doubles in the room which are extreamly small. if we would of known that then we would of booked a king room or stayed at a different hotel. Wih two kids It was very cramped. Other than that the service and hotel is great.

We always love Hyatt hotels because they are very well maintained and the service is impecable. Spring for the corner suite it is worth the extra money, We ordered a mini fridge for the room and they called us the next day and wheeled in a cart with wine, drinks, fruit, chocolate, nuts, etc to stock our fridge and it was all complimetary. They even […] brought an extra fridge in case it didn't all fit! We are Hyatt Gold Passport members but had never had such luxurious treatment. There is no hotel restaurant (except Ruth Chris and Starbucks) ao we had room service breakfast every morning- which was delicious. Thankfully it was included in our rate since otherwise it would have been costly. It is centrally located right near flagship Nordstroms and a nice mall across the street, hort walk to tramway and Pike Place market. Only downside is there are a lot of homeless and sketchy people roaming around in downtown Seattle. Read more

We had a beautiful corner suite with a great view. Only complaint about the room was the air conditioner kept freezing up. The hotel only has a sushi restaurant and ruth's chris no regular dining which was inconvient.
