With about 40,000 students, the University of Washington is the area's lifeblood. The campus includes a world-class medical center, the Burke Museum, and Henry Art Gallery. UW's main square offers a clear view of Mount Rainier. West of UW, a Lenin statue watches over Fremont, which bills itself as “The Center of the Universe.” Fremont's low-rise shops and cafés resemble Berkeley and Old New York.

Comparitively, this is a good bang for your buck. Convenient location to U Dist and very near green lake, fremont, and not far from downtown. Clean room with nice ammenities at a 2/3 star hotel price. Would def stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was a short and convenient drive to downtown. Loved the retro decor. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast included healthy choices besides for bagels and french toast. Starbucks coffee and Tavo teas in lobby 24/7 with pineapple cupcakes during certain hours. Neighborhood seems to be a changing/up and coming area but all in all safe if you […] keep watchful. "Great hotel"
Nice little hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The only reason I would give this a 4/5 is because the hotel is kind if old and could use some remodling or renovating. The staff is the friendliest I have ever met. Will definitely stay again but would also like to try their sister hotel The Waterfront which is just up the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"in the middle of it all"
We stayed at this hotel due to its location in NE Seattle. Not wanting to have to stay downtown with all its hustle and bustle and $$$ to deal with. First timers to this hotel and I would reccommend it to others. The Cont. breakfast was more than I expected and it started our departure in a good and full mood. The rooms were comfortable. Easy to reach off the I-5, and on a convenient bus route to reach downtown for those who don't like to drive in the city. Free parking, very friendly staff, and quiet rooms. 部屋は清潔。朝食は豪華ではないが十分。最低限のアメニティ、金庫、アイロンも部屋にある。都心からは離れるが、シャトルバスを利用できるので問題なし。大学が近いので気軽なレストランが近くに沢山ある。１ブロック先にスーパーマーケットもある。ペット同伴可なので、動物嫌いの方には辛いかもしれない。 値段相応かどうかは判断しにくいが、概ね満足。機会があったらまた利用するかもしれない。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
