The Paramount is located one block from the Paramount Theater in Seattle, Wash. This property stands one block from Pacific Place shops and restaurants. The monorail that shuttles between downtown Seattle and Seattle Center is located three blocks away.
Hotel Features.
The hotel lobby exudes English private club ambience with a fireplace, dark-wood furnishings and an intimate seating area. Dragonfish Asian Café, the hotel's Asian-fusion restaurant, features a late-night menu, daily happy hours and room service. The café serves American-style breakfasts. A business center houses two computer stations, and offers fax and photocopy services for a fee. A total of 1,300 square feet of function space accommodates events. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby. Recreational amenities include a 24-hour, complimentary fitness center equipped with free weights, and cardiovascular and weight-training equipment.
Guestrooms.
This 11-story, single-building hotel offers 146 contemporary guestrooms decorated with neutral color schemes and accented with crimson-print throw pillows and bed scarves. All accommodations include full-length mirrors and cherry-tone furniture. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses and feather pillows. All rooms contain coffeemakers and in-room safes (accommodate laptops). Granite-topped vanities are located outside the bathrooms, which feature marble floors and walls. Bathrooms are stocked with Garden Elements toiletries. Executive King rooms feature bathrooms with soaking tubs and separate showers. Rooms include complimentary wireless Internet access, and flat-screen televisions.

Dragonfish Asian Café - This colorful lobby restaurant serves an eclectic mix of Asian fare, including dim sum, noodle dishes, and sushi samplers. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with late-night dining and daily happy hours.
The Paramount's 24-hour fitness room provides free weights, strength-training equipment, a stair machine, treadmill, and stationary bike. Guests also receive discounted passes to a health club one block away.
The hotel is eight blocks from the Seattle waterfront area, where sailing, parasailing, scenic cruises, and fishing excursions are available (surcharge).

Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don't miss the futuristic main library. Seattle's twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.

The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Great location and surprisingly not loud at all...considering its downtown location. Be aware that parking is not included. I merely inquired about the parking rate, since I was not told about it upon calling previous to my stay, and the staff reacted defensively. I didn't even care that I had to pay for […] parking, but their reaction was quite rude. They treated me like I was stupid for asking questions about parking and checking out. "Loved the place"
Great location for me since I had business 3 blocks over. I actually returned my rental car because I didn't need it since everything was walkable including Pikes market. Great place to stay if you want to be downtown but also want easy access to the freeway for day trips. Walking distance to shopping, the waterfront, great restaurants. Great place to stay. I loved my room and everyone was very friendly. My only semi-complaint was the ice machine wasn't on my floor and it wasn't totally clear where to go. When I opened the door to the stairwell I thought I was going the wrong way because it looked like a service entrance. Nowhere near as well-kept as the rest of the hotel. "Expectations exceeded."
I haven't stayed at the Paramount in years but decided to give it a try as they offered a far better rate than the surrounding Hyatt's, Sheraton and the boutiques. "You will never sleep"
I must say, I hate this hotel. I travel to Seattle twice/month and I will never be back. First of all there is so much racket that goes on at 2am or 3am each night with the pipes that sounds as if someone is moving heavy furniture. Also the fire alarm went off at 4am and we were forced to evacuate our rooms - most of us barefoot in flimsy hotel bathrobes […] down a filthy stairwell and deposited in the rain while the firefighters showed up to check out the false alarm that apparently happens 'all the time.' Did they compensate us in any way for our trouble? No- just a 'oops sorry about that' over the intercom.Apparently the fire alarm goes off all the time! The negative experience began right when I arrived. At 6pm in the evening I had to wait a full 20 minutes for the front desk clerk to arrive back to his post just so I could check in. And when he did he could barely be bothered. The best thing about this place are the valet guys- they seem to understand what customer service is all about... I come to Seattle often on biz trips. Love the Paramount. Very comfortable and an overall excellent value. Lots of attention to small details that you would expect from higher priced hotels. "Nice hotel, but...."
Internet connectivity was so slow as to be almost unusable. This is very important to me when I'm travelling and would keep me from staying there again.
