Convenient and over the top customer care! FREE internet service, free coffee, tea and hot choc all day, complimentary bottles of water, breakfast sack to go (if needed), free breakfast, help when you need it (directions, recommendation for restaurants) and this hotel is very convenient. Staff was very nice! It far reached beyond my expectation!

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last 10 years, most recently for 2 nights in October, 2012. It has always been clean, well run, and a great location; this time it was quite expensive, $190 for 1 night, and the check-in staff and manager unpleasant. I was quite surprised to have an additional $15.00 plus tax tacked on to the […] bill for parking. To the best of my knowledge, we have never paid this before. The clerk assured me they had been charging for parking for the two years he had been there. I asked to speak to the manager to tell him why we would not be coming back; he said he had worked there for six years and they charged for parking. He offered to waive the charge this time, which I declined to accept. He then suggested I go elsewhere to find a hotel more aligned with my needs. We will do so. I pulled out my October, 2012 bill, which shows a total charge of $276.42 or $138.21 per night, with no parking charges either at check-in or on the final bill. Read more

We loved our stay here at the downtown Seattle Hampton. The staff was so friendly and very prompt about anything asked or needed. The suites are very spacious and clean. We also loved that our car was secure in the underground parking that could only be accessed via room key. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Seattle.

Hampton Inn is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at. Service is excellent and the coffe and cookies in the lobby are great too. Do try the New York Pizza restaurant across the street and if you are in the need there is a QFC, grocery store directly across the street. Parking is 15.00 per night which is a bargain for Seattle.

I was extremely disappointed with the parking, it was horrible. They have a set spot for SUV's to park, but there were other tiny cars in that location. So no room for my SUV. AWESOME PLACE TO GO! Stayed at the Westin in 2010 which was nice, but the Hampton is just as nice at half the price and $10 cheaper for nightly parking! Its just 1 mile outside of Pike's! Great service and breakfast was delicious, too!

This hotel is clean, reasonably quiet and very convenient to downtown Seattle and Seattle Center. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are nice. The breakfast is quite good, with a good selection of food. The coffee is excellent. I would recommend this hotelo to anyone. Maybe expensive for a family?

Doors on closet kept comi g off the hinges and were hard to open. The toilet was also very loud to flush and there was a lot of street noise where we were positioned. On a better note, the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. There service and hospitality was great and I would stay here again and recommend it to our friends!

We stayed there with our 3 young children, huge room (in the suite's side) very close to the museums and theaters, they gave us complimentary parking( not common at all in Seattle) and also for the babysitter who took care of our children that day, good breakfast (also included) I definitively will go there next time in Seattle.

We could hear them every time they spoke, and at times their conversations were not only audible, but completely intelligible. (Again, this is from our bed as we were trying to go to sleep--it's not like we were listening through the doors with a drinking glass.) Our neighbors weren't even particularly loud--the problem was the doors. If I had thought to bring earplugs, then I think I would have been fine. Then again, this stay could have been a disaster if we had gotten stuck with noisier neighbors. Great location, close to highway and within walking distance of the Space Needle. The hotel is about half hour from the airport, so keep that in mind if relativity to the airport is important to you. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Seattle.

The air conditioner/heater was not what was expected. Really didn't heat!Parking was a nightmare - 3 levels - some had to be accessed by stairs (after using elevator) - not good for wheels on computer cases and/or suitcases. Plus, very confusing navigating the 2 buildings & 3 parking levels! Staff was extremely friendly & helpful!!
