I am a repeat user of this hotel - it's located very close (5 minute walk) to downtown places to visit and eat, the rooms are quiet, very clean, extremely comfy beds (clean and comfy is what I really care about here, everything else is icing on the cake). I typically stay in Federal Way or Sea-tac as I had a bad experience at one of the 5 star hotels in Downtown Seattle. I have to say that I will be back to the Renaissance due to the friendliness of the staff. They were extremely helpful and it wasn't forced. Friendly staff. When we were given a room on the freeway side of the building upon check-in and asked if we could switch to another room, it wasn't a problem at all. I'm not too difficult to please so I wasn't really surprised by the level of service and quality at this hotel - it's exactly as I had hoped / expected when we booked the room. It was beautiful and clean and every one we spoke with was genuinely kind and helpful. The valet was located right off the main road and it wasn't difficult to find. The freeway […] is straight ahead on the right as you're leaving (important to us because we hate driving in the city when we can avoid it). We booked the room to see a play at the Paramount and even walked back to the hotel after the show. It wasn't the most pleasant walk as it was on a lesser used road at night but it was within a 0.5 mile from the theater. I'd love to stay here again the next time we need a place in Seattle. While this hotel is certainly not the cheapest place to stay in downtown, the rooms are always comfortable and clean. The beds luxurious. I've stayed in larger rooms that were not as comfy - the bed mostly takes the prize. I've never not had a great nights sleep there! Rooms next door were quiet. Outside noise was little to none. Parking is expensive, […] but I suppose with their own personal garage you're at their mercy. No large or tall vehicles and the turning radius in the garage is pretty tight, so if you're not a good driver don't park there. A few blocks uphill from the waterfront - your heart will be pumping pretty good if you walk it, but it's not far. 28th floor bar has great views, it's quiet even when full and has a decent small menu. Not really near other eateries, so you either eat prior to checking in or eat at the restaurant on site (I've never been, always choosing to explore other local restaurants first).
