"Near the airport (LAX) but isolated from services"
Since we had a rental car, the location of the hotel was fine; only a few miles from the airport and Manhatten Beach. Not far away are many restaurants and other services, although the hotel does have room service and a restaurant too. The Pool area is great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Mixed feeling...nice hotel, lousy parking"
The hotel was nice, very clean and had a friendly staff. Beds were a bit hard and no lock on bathroom door, but for the price I overlooked that. I was very disappointed when we came back from our day of sight-seeing and shopping to find no parking at all in the lot of the hotel. It was dark and we were exhausted from a full day of walking. We were told […] we had to park across the street in an underground, dark (not monitored) parking lot. Not only did we have bags to carry in but we were checking out the next morning with all our luggage and had to haul it across the street and thru the parking lot. Come to find out the parking lot was full due to an event in the bar. In my opinion the bar guests should have had to park across the street in the parking lot and the parking lot should have been reserved for the hotel guests. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My initial room was smelly, I asked for a better room and it didn't smell that much better. The carpet was old looking. There was stains on the bed skirt! I like the hotel but the rooms could use some TLC!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
