For the price, I was expecting a hotel that you would rather sleep outside than the bed you just rented. But, the service was actually above and beyond & won't hesitate to stay again. You have to remember this isn't a hotel that is newly built and things aren't going to be perfect. Condition of the hotel is fine. The breakfast area is convenient for quick eats, but is a little cramped. The front desk person I encountered was helpful. The hotel primarily seems to be a place to pause briefly for those in transit on longer journeys, but the place is a good spot for looking around the neighborhoods south and east of Cleveland.

Lodging was passable. Room was large, since there was only one chair and table. Light fixture in bathroom was a problem, since it took minutes to come on. But seeing how it was only a place to sleep at night, it worked.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was better than expected. Was not impressed with the overall cleanliness as there was dried frosting smeared all over the wall and the floor was covered in sprinkles. The beds were small and extremely uncomfortable. The room was non smoking and yet had a strange stale odor.

The person at the reception desk was surly and unhelpful. The bathroom door had a hole in it. Finally and most amazingly, my room had NOT HOT WATER. The operator said that the maintenance people were "coming". Just awful.

It's an older facility that could use an upgrade. But it was kept clean and did not smell in our no smoking room. Our toilet backed up but that could happen anywhere. They don't have night maintenance, so lucky it wasn't bad. No fridge in the room but it had a safe. The TV was a flat screen digital and the wi-fi worked well. The free breakfast was 2 […] cereals, yogurt, instant oatmeal, pastries, waffles you could make yourself in the iron, apples / oranges, milk / juice / coffee / tea. We stay at this Super 8 because it is close to the Interstate, affordable, and near things we want to do. There isn't much within walking distance, but within 10 minutes driving there's a mall, many restaurants, and nice neighborhoods. The room was clean which goes a long ways. it was ok the only thing that really disappointed me was that i had the do not disturb sign on the door on sunday morning and had knocking on the door at 9:30 am by your cleaning staff (do they not know how to READ??) and a phone call that the front desk said they did not put through so im going to assume that was the cleaning staff??? just because […] they want to hurry and get finished thats their problem i believe check out is 12:00 if i am wrong about that please inform me. so i rated my stay poorly because i expect to be able to sleep in until i have to check out and i was facing a 7 hour drive home. My husband and I were attending the Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure walk and needed something that was close to the route, and something inexpensive. The location was perfect - right off the interstate, and there were restaurants within walking distance (Outback & Carrabas). The check-in and check-out process was easy. We asked for a non-smoking room. […] We arrived at our room, marked non-smoking, but was greeted with a foul odor of cigarette smoke covered up with deodorizer. It was almost intolerable. The furniture was pretty ragged and a many of the electrical sockets didn't work. The air-conditioner wasn't working at optimal performance. Our room was pretty warm and we were saved only by the portable fan we brought with us on the trip. The flat screen t.v. worked great and there was a huge variety of satellite TV stations available. They have a pool - it was open and looked clean (we didn't use it). Parking is ample - we were pulling a trailer behind our truck, so parking was perfect. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay and you won't be in the room all day, then I would recommend this motel. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, without worrying whether or not you should walk on the carpet, then I would say find some place else. Read more

8/6/12 After the Hotel from Horrific of one nite. Expedia worked diligently to provide a better experience. The pool was clean, and blue. The rooms clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast was wonderful I would stay again. The only problem was the staff was short,but doing their best to accommodate everyone..

It's a Super 8, so you shouldn't be expecting anything too fancy. There was one apathetic desk lady, but other than that, no problems. Good breakfast provided, good TV package. The sink outside of the bathroom proved to be helpful

We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 to check in and were informed that they were overbooked. It took well over an hour for them to check us into the last 4 rooms they had available. Instead of the 4 non-smoking rooms we reserved, we got 3 smoking rooms which smelled horrible and 1 non-smoking room. The rooms were mostly clean, but definatly not maintained […] well. The only reason we stayed was because of the location and rate. Probably would drive a little further and pay a little more for another hotel next time. Read more

We went to visit my in-laws in the Cleveland area and needed a place to stay. This hotel fit the bill. It is conveniently located by I-90 in Westlake. Mr relatives and a major shopping mall is were less than 10 minutes away. The kids liked it because of the pool. (this is an outdoor pool...something to remember for winter travel) The complimentary breakfast […] consisted of batter-baked waffles, cereal, donuts/muffins, oatmeal and yogart. Room was not clean. Room was very damp. Food was left on table when we came in. Mattresses were stained and dirty. Sink was cracked throughout. Towl bar ripped off bathroom wall. We stayed here for one night and it was very nice and comfortable stay. We had our 4 month old baby with us and we requested a fridge which we got almost immediately. The room was clean with lcd flat screen tv. All in all a very pleasant stay.

The location was excellent, access to all highways and yet QUIET. Carrabbas Restaurant right next door. Minutes to Cleveland. The room was a clean, decent room, with a comfortable bed, minus 'frills" like: a luggage rack, hair conditioner, small fridge. (All of which would have been nice.) And the tissue dispenser had been closed up - no more tissues […] provided, lol. The bathtub was clogged, but maintenance fixed it immediately. Friendly staff. I had stayed here before for a soccer tournament 2 years ago, and it was a fine stay. But this was awful. The number not on the door should have been the first clue (Room 112 in case someone wants to avoid the room). Upon walking in the room smelled damp. My daughter tried to close the curtain to change and it feel apart. There were small holes along […] the entire wall above the headboards of the beds. A giant hole was in the wall behind the door of the bathroom. A coffee stain on the bed had us freaked out it might be bed bugs, and to top it off, my daughter tried the blow drier, but it started smoking. Thank God it was only a night. although it was "cheap", it wasn't cheap enough for what we got. Avoid. It will be the last time we stay there, which is too bad, because we like coming to this areas soccer tournaments. Read more

Frustrating at 11:15 p.m. when we could not get into our room. It was looked from the inside as though someone occupied it. We were transfered to another room. Floor needed swept, no waste basket liners and coffemaker did not work.

I usually book this hotel just because it is the cheapest priced hotel and closest to Dave and Busters. I never really have a problem with the hotel. We were very satisfied with this hotel. What we paid for 2 nights, was what most other hotels were charging for one night. It was close to all the sights, only minutes away from downtown. The room was clean. The free continental breakfast sure hit the spot both for us and our kids. The pool looked great, unfortunately we didn't have time in our busy […] schedule to go swimming. This hotel was in a very good location. There were at least 150 rooms but there were only seven cars in the parking lot in the a.m. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but the coffee was great. For the price and the location this hotel should have been full. People are missing out on a good deal.
