It was what it was. The motel a block from the Wilma in downtown Missoula. Went for a show and it provided a place to sleep afterwards. Staff was amazingly polite and nice. Room needed some maintenance but was clean and had king size bed. Stayed there before , would definitely stay again. Perfect location in downtown.

Although the front desk folks were very friendly, the sheets hadn't been changed, and we found an earring on the floor next to the bed. The paint in the bathroom was peeling and the tub didn't want to drain. Don't know that I will stay there again.

There was a candy wrapper behind one of the nightstands that never got cleaned. The floors didn't look vaccuumed. The shower curtain didn't fit across the shower. Very few outlets. I had to unplug a light to use my CPAP machine. Hotel was under renovation and we had one of the renovated rooms, but there were stains at the baseboards of the bathroom […] walls. The top dresser drawer tilted like it would fall out when you opened it. The pool had a tarp over it, tho it was supposed to be opened by this time of year. No notice was given that it was not available. Not enough parking. Most of the rooms were empty (you could tell because the curtains were open on the available rooms) and we had no place to park the first night. The clerk had us park in a throughway area. If even half of the rooms were in use, there wouldn't be enough spots. Parking on the steet has meters. I did not feel safe. It was just plain creepy. The doors to the stairs were always locked from the outside even tho the sign said it would be locked after 10 PM. We had to go into the lobby every time we went to our room, which was located on the opposite side. I do not recommend this motel. The price was too expensive for what you got. The staff was superb! They were extremely friendly and quite knowledgable about the location. I wanted to eat at a local restaurant however, they made the suggestion of trying their local farmer''s market and crafts fair. This is an older chain hotel. It was perfect for the one night stay I had. I didn't spend a lot of time in the room as I was there to hit the Wilma. Worked for me as a place to sleep over night so that I didn't have to drive home after the show. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel was not equiped to handle the weather. A water pipe broke and we had no water one morning. then that night the heat went out. When I called the front desk they brought me a small space heater like the one that goes under a desk to warm your feet. It was 6 below zero.

This wasn't 1 of the downtown hotels next to the water, nor lit all up. In fact, I would've never paid attention to it driving down the road had I not been going there specifically. On the downside, it […] was winter so the pool was closed, the breakfast was sparse, my 1st room wasn't clean (throughout) and my 2nd room looked like the carpet wasn't much cleaner, and the walls/ceiling looked in need of repair, the walls in bathroom were dirty, & the bedsheets had cigarette burns or stains on them. On the plus side, the owner/desk attendant was super nice, friendly, very understanding & accommodating -even last minute. The room had the free internet, cable tv, fridge/microwave, etc... Terrible location with strip club next door, lots of street noise, no safe parking. Walls are paper thin. Room was musty and AC didn't work. We walked out and decided to eat the money we had prepaid for the reservation.

Due to the city landscaping, it was very difficult to see the hotel sign. However, the hotel staff was very helpful to direct me to the parking garage. I was a bit uncomfortable with the room having a door that adjoined to the next room. Since we were 2 women in a hotel hundreds of miles from home, I would have preferred a room with only one door. After I booked at this location, I just happened to read what others had to say about the place. It's all negative nonsense from several years ago. This is a great spot. A very nice East Indian family owns and operates the place. They could not have been friendlier or more attentive to my needs. Scrap those other reviews. This place is a bargain!!
