"Ok for the price, expect to get what you pay for"
The hotel is not far from the center of town, easy to get to. The rooms are small by today's standards, but clean; don't hope for high def. Beverage and snack dispensing machines in hallways. Hotel takes no responsibility for $ lost in dispensing machines, you must call vendor. Pool and hot tub were great, fitness room a joke. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Anchorage Inn, the room was bright, clean and roomy, I was even able to open the windows for some fresh air. I was staying at the Anchorage Inn and Suites for business. The location is the primary reason for choosing it. Located off I-95 and very close to Portsmouth, it was good from this standpoint.
