This hotel is a short distance from the highway passing by Portsmouth. It has been thoughtfully and nicely renovated. The rooms are clean, quiet and tastefully decorated. "FAMILY VACATION - MINI GET AWAY"
My fiance and I just got married this summer. I "inherited" two children, a boy 9 and a girl 13. This was our first "family" get away. The kids absolutey loved the place - they want to go back asap! "Port Motel, Portsmouth NH - a definite gem"
As others have noted, this is an older motel unit. 1.1 miles from downtown. The entire facitility has obviously been totally renovated in the last ?5 years or so. All doors, fixtures, lights, furniture are "New" and of well above average quality. Units do vary so you may have to call them for clarification. Our ground floor unit, front entry near parking, […] had 2 bedrooms with a connecting doorway. The entry BR. had 2 Q beds, the other 1 Q bed. front rm small refrigerator, microwave, table, 2 chairs. 1 over head iight, 4 table lamps, large dresser. also Desk with free wired internet, lamp & chair. Each room had digital thermostat controlled AC, baseboord heating. Both rooms 32in Flat screen HDTV, HD cable service, & HBO. Large bath with door to each BR, Stone shoer surround, & sink top. Everything was great about our stay except two things. One was the smell of our room. I'm not sure if it was the air conditioner but it had sort of a musty smell to the room. Das Port Inn ist mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen, zur Stadmitte muss man allerdings fast das Auto nehmen. Die Zimmer sind gepflegt und modern eingerichtet. Für das Frühstück steht kein eigentlicher Frühstücksraum zur Verfügung, so dass man in einer Art Lobby essen muss (ohne Tisch).
