Close to Portsmouth lovely city center and to the I95 going to South Maine beaches. Very convenient and clean rooms. The only (minor) concern was that we were told that there was an indoor swimming pool the night when we arrive. The next morning we were prepared to get swimming with the kids but we were told that the pool was actually at the Holiday […] Inn, across the bridge... The hotel was adequate. The man at the front desk was very nice and informative. He was basically doubling as a concierge as people asked questions about the area and food options. "lack of enough room insulation"

"The Americas Best Inns in Portsmouth"
We stayed at the Inn in 2009 when our grandson, that lives in Portsmouth, was very ill. This stay was much happier for us because we got to celebrate his leaving for Sprain to study for a year. "Convenient"
Clean and quiet. We were on the 3rd floor and had no issues with the hotel. Walking distance of downtown Portsmouth, around a mile or so. Parking does get pretty full but were were still able to park on the property every time we returned. Nothing wrong here at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

I was looking for an affordable place to spend the night after skiing up int North Conway. I found this hotel and booked it after I read some good reviews about it but in reality you never know until you get there. I was very pleased with the speediness of check-in. The hotel is right off the highway but yet very quiet. Extremely close to downtown which […] is a great plus. Room was very nice, decent size, bathroom was spacious and clean. The complimentary continental breakfast was good, there was room for everyone and the items were taken care of so as to not let anything run down. I was extremely satisfied with this and in addition, I had first booked it at a rate that a couple weeks later went down in hotels.com and Customer Service was very prompt to refund the difference immediately.
