I booked last minute for a business trip starting on a busy weekend and this was one of few hotels in the vicinity I was looking and within the range I... was willing to spend that had vacancies. The hotel beat my expectations. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the complimentary wi-fi worked without issues and the complimentary continental breakfast was better than any other continental breakfast I've experienced (included a waffle maker, things you could microwave, fixings to top the instant oatmeal, etc.). I appreciated having a fridge, coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. by a Hotels.com guest on 09/29/12

I like Fairfield Inns generally, and while this one was a little small and out of the way of Portsmouth center, it was still very nice and clean inside, and for a very good price. It is much better than other options in the immediate neighborhood (the rt 1 bypass circle), but if you are looking for a downtown hotel this is certainly not the one for […] you.
