Hotel was great. Staff very friendly. The lobby was redone and has the bar and food service there. Only criticism is its not really convenient or safe to walk to Portsmouth because of the road and lack of sidewalks until you pass under 95. Definitely not a night time walk. We enjoyed 2 nights in Avery nice and spacious room. The service was great. The bistro bar in the hotel was very cozy the food was very good and fresh to my surprise well done to all at this hotel didn't try the pool or whirlpool but it seems really nice and clean as with the entire hotel. Service was excellent. We ate there for 2 dinners and a breakfast. Food was good and reasonably priced. Hotel had good amenities. We were on the third floor and had highway noise occassionally. No disappointments. Either my GPS took me on a crazy route or the hotel was a little difficult to get at, but once there, had a very enjoyable stay. "Hotel next to 495, near downtown Portsmouth"
An attractive, quiet, modern hotel with a fireplace and attractive breakfast room greeted us when we checked in. We booked via Hotels.com and got an excellent rate at the last minute, and our free breakfast was very much more than continental. Our room had a desk and a couch, and we enjoyed the view out the window of the beautiful trees surrounding […] the hotel. Great stay here. Check in and out was quick and simple and the staff was very friendly. The elevator went out of service at one point and it was a bit of a hassle to walk to one end of the building and up two flights of stairs, but that was out of their control. This hotel is on the outskirts of Portsmouth, not downtown. However, a great buy if you want quiet and comfort with a restaurant/bar and indoor pool/fitness center. Restful and clean.
