West of the Willamette River, downtown offers a celebrated skyline, walkable streets, and a lively arts scene. Visitors shop tax-free at Powell’s Books and Portland Saturday Market, a craft lover’s paradise. Area festivals include Cinco de Mayo and the Oregon Brewer’s Festival. Recently stayed here. Was charged an extra 20.00 on my card at check in. Was NOT informed of this until I looked at my bank account....Evidently it is their common practice to pre charge you for services not rendered, and not inform you when doing so., Will NEVER go to a Marriott again, sionce they use fraudulent practices.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Alright for the money but uncomfortable"
Very uncomfortable beds and pillows. Sheets wouldn't stay on the mattress. Vallet parking only which hikes the price up an extra $30 on top of hotel cost.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When we arrived to our destinatiion after 10 hour drive streets were blocked due to parade and had to walk 4 blocks to check into Hotel. When we did check in we were told no parking available but on the street which we did 3 blocks aways. Suggestion would be to alert traveler of events on that day and time and to inform of parking situation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't stay here!!!"
The rooms were extremely tiny. Upon check-in they didn't have the room I had requested. The heater/air conditioning didn't work properly. It was so poorly working I had to request a blanket. The window in the room was extremely tiny and looked out on a back alley. The only good point of my stay was the hotel staff was quite helpful. The hotel itself […] is in a bad section of the downtown Portland area. I have stayed at the Hilton Executive Tower and they are always excellent. I tried saving $25.00 a night and I got a bad hotel. Next time it's the Hilton for me. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
