The hotel is located very close to all local transit and seemed to be central to all the places we ended up going to. The farthest we had to travel was... 30 min on the Max coming and going to the airport. The breakfast they offered was nice and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Stayed in 3 hotels on our tree this was nicest and friendliest. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds are so comfortable. Didn't care for menu at resturant bit did order room service one night which was good. Neighbor was good across from park. Only thing that sucked was few for parking.

The hotel is excellent to stay in if you're walking Portland. The last free ride stop for the Tri Met is on that street block, meaning that you can hop on and be downtown for free in 15-20 minutes. If the Pioneer Square mall doesn't have what you need when you get downtown, the Lloyd Center mall is across the street block from the Tri Met stop in front […] of the hotel. About the hotel itself: the check in was a bit slow, but being a Hilton hotel, they give warm cookies for each guest (they were great!). The room was large with a view to the park across the street. We were very fortunate that it was a sunny day in Portland and got to see how beautiful the city is. A lot of people were in the pool, which looked very inviting. Made to feel right at home from the moment we walked into register for the night. The warm chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch! And an unexpected surprise of a wonderful free breakfast put the topping on the weekend! Liked not having to pay for parking and having the Lloyd Center so close by was great!

The staff was very freindly, hotel was well kept, and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a standard queen room with an awesome view of the city. If you are worried you need to be directly downtown let me give you this piece of advice: The free train stop is a block down the road and will take you to nearly all the places you want to visit. It […] runs from about 6 or so in the morning to about 11:45 at night (about every 15 minutes). Some people on the train are sketchy, but it is not unsafe by any means. The hotel is worth the good price and there is a mall next door in case you forgot anything or just like to shop. I would highly recommend this hotel for comfort and convienance in Portland. The hotel had good pricing because it wasnt in downtown portland. but a 2 minute walk would lead you to a a free train ride to downtown. It was right across a very big shopping mall, and the neighbourhood had a very cute cafe. The front desk people were nice, as well as the concierge was very very helpful. But the bartender was rude, there was no wifi […] in the rooms which is very surprising nowadays. And the biggest turn off of all was that the cleaning people didnt't do very much cleaning in our hotel room. Read more

This was my second stay and everything was a great as the last stay. Rooms are cozy, bed is terrific, neighborhood is very quiet considering you are in the city. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Steps away from the free streetcar to take you downtown. If you are a walker downtown in 1/2 hour, 10 minute bike ride - which you see tons of in Portland. […] Hotel is only a few blocks from the riverfront which is a great place to walk run or cycle. Portland is a fabulous city if you're still considering a visit - tons of pubs and breweries and Portlanders are the most pedestrian and cyclist friendly people I've ever met! Christine at the front desk was great, friendly, very accommodating, and funny. we were disappointed only with the fact that we had to pay nearly $10 for wifi, As it's a conference hotel i can understand that they will pay it, but there should be an offer for tourists to get it for free. apart from that, the hotel was great, and we will stay there […] again.
