"Convenient, comfortable hotel"
We only had one day in Portland but had an excellent stay. The hotel is set up like studio apts so actually had a nice small kitchen which could be very helpful for longer stays (though we did not use it). Portland is a small city so getting around is no problem and the streetcar stops literally outside the front door. The free parking was a nice plus. […] The decor is funky but in a nice way. Very convenient for the west side parks and easy access to the downtown area. Definitely would recommend this hotel. We were traveling with our son for college visits and the room had a comfortable sofa bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"I could live here"
This place is a fresh approach to a hotel. The full-featured suite was so perfectly set up that if I were planning to live in Portland, I would have inquired about monthly rates. Indeed, I asked the front desk if the same company had anything like it in my home city of Seattle. Other reviews raved about the daring, lively, not-so-Northwest colors and […] design choices, and I loved them too. As a long-time Northwesterner, I was glad to see someone deviating from the tired Earth tones and shades of black that have infected the esthetic of the Northwest. However, the fantastic interior design was deeper than just the color; the layout, use of space, and choice of appointments was spot-on. My only gripe would be about the mind-blowingly wasteful Keurig coffee maker in the room (coffee used to create not much more than compost fodder until Keurig figured out how to make it as wasteful as the rest of Americana), but many people have been seduced by its supposed easy-of-use (as if making coffee was ever really that hard). In closing, for a breath of fresh air and an experience you won't get out of the big chains, definitely give this place a try. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best stop on our trip"
What a refreshing, welcome oasis in the world of "meh" hotels. The interesting decor and great location combined with helpful staff, better than average breakfast and spacious rooms made it a standout. Hope my child ends up going to school in Portland--I'll surely be a regular!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Part of Town"
A smaller and somewhat funkier (in a good way) hotel in a great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to everything."
Having booked so far in advance I had forgotten that each room comes equipped with a full kitchen in the all suite hotel. A very nice perk when travelling with a toddler. We we able to hop on the streetcar whose stop is right outside the Inn and go grocery shopping at Whole Foods for some necessities. The kitchen comes fully stocked with pots, pans, […] table and silverware and cutlery. I was super happy it had a Keurig. Mama needs her morning java and nightly tea. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and inviting. I'm sure you're wondering about the street car going by... truthfully it only sounds like a distant roll of thunder and last for only about that long too. You and the kids will NOT lose sleep! The bed was very comfortable. I can't vouch for the pull out since we didn't use it but the couch portion was cozy. The living area very spacious. Two flat screen tvs. I forgot to mention they even have a extensive free continental breakfast and "Wine Wednesdays". All in all a wonderful stay on our first trip to Portland. The Inn at Northrup Station has everything we wanted and so centrally located I doubt we'll stay anywhere else when we visit again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Just a little note"
We really like this hotel. We stayed there few times. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The only suggestion that I have is that they have to do some upgrade . The air condition system are old and also the lamps need some repair or upgrade.Genuine Expedia guest review

Only hotel in the heart of Northwest Portland. Big, nice rooms. Overpriced, but you can't beat the location if you just want to relax and primarily stay in Northwest Portland and/or the Pearl.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Really enjoyed our three night stay here"
The suites are roomy. The in-room kitchen and cooking facilities are the best we've seen. The decor is different and delightful. A trolley stop at hotel door makes it easy to go downtown. Staff was expecially friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good quality. The free on-site parking was a big plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place. Funky and cool. Walking distance to great resturaunts and bars. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"How cool is this?"
Great place! Love the decor. Wouldn't decorate my house like this but makes for a fun place to stay. Close to many places to eat and shop. We walked everywhere. Staff is very helpful, unlike some hotels, where directions are iffy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"They pulled it off!!"
It was like going to Dan Draper's apartment in NYC on Madmen. 60's funky pulled off without a hitch. I would recommend this hotel to all. We walked to dinner and late night snack places every day. Quiet, safe, fun and beautiful, in a nice funky way. Well done.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I'd definitely stay here again"
We stayed here because it seemed funky and different. It was, in all the right ways. From the great kitchenette in our room to our outside balcony seating area to the rooftop gathering area and bbq, it was great. You catch the free public transportation just outside the hotel a block and you don't have to worry about parking through most of the downtown. […] The staff were very nice and helpful, the room and amenities were great, and in a nice neighborhood. I plan to come back to this place every time I'm in Portland. "Great Funky Hotel"
What a cute, funky and fun hotel! Decor was so fun, the rooms were well equiped with a full kitchen, a very large flat screen TV as well as a smaller one, and the bed was very comfortable. The fact that the trolley stop was right outside was a great plus! Take the trolley to go downtown, but if you walk a fews blocks north to 24th or 25th street, and […] go left, there are tons of places to eat and cute shops along the way. It's an adorable area. I would highly recommend this hotel for both the value and the location. The staff was very friendly also. We stayed on the first floor facing the street (where the trolley comes by) and it wasn't noisy at all. Stay here and you will have a smile on your face! Can't wait to come back! My favorite Portland hotel. It's fun and funky and retro in style. Staff is courteous and friendly. Love the attention to details. So nice to have included breakfast in the colorful dining area. "AWESOME"
Hotel had so much character! Cute, funky, charming, but above all, clean and convenient! It was pretty much a fully furnished apartment stocked with cooking equipment and dishes. And 2 TVs! My gosh... The only thing missing was dish detergent for hand washing. But other than that it was excellent. Will come back next time in Portland!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel in NW Portland"
What a cool little hotel. This was our first time in Portland, and the folks at The Inn at Northrup Station helped make it very enjoyable. Very friendly staff, very clean hotel and room. A little out of the way, but walking downtown or taking the streetcar takes no time. I preferred the walk. If you don't, the streetcar stop is right outside the hotel […] lobby. I would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"we love this hotel!!!"
We stayed here 3 years ago for the Oregon Brew Fest, and so when we decided to come out for it again, we knew we had to stay here b/c we liked it so much the first time. Here’s why we love this hotel: Clean, large rooms, great décor, lots of lighting in the room & bathroom, large shower, large desk/workspace area, lots of outlets, full-sized fridge/freezer […] with ice-maker, microwave, dishwasher, sink, stovetop, plates, dishes, silverware, in-room Keurig, comfortable king-sized bed, great breakfast spread (bagels, cereal, waffles, yogurt, granola bars, peanut butter, juices, fruit, etc. , free wi-fi, courteous staff, free streetcar passes (street car stop is right outside the hotel), spots available on the roof for hanging out, grilling, etc. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable, intimate hotel next to transit"
We loved the hotel. The street car & bus stop was 50 ft away & we got free passes from the hotel. Also loved the full kitchen in the room. Went to Trader Joes about 6 blocks away, brought home food & cooked when we didn't want to eat out. They had a great continental plus breakfast, newspaper & coffee always available. Also had a wine tasting nite, […] but we were out & missed it. Try Beasus (sp?) about 8 blocks away for breakfast or lunch - great place. If we go back to Portland, we'd stay there again. "Fun and fabulous!"
The Groovy Girl furniture and spacious suite were even better than expected! A full sized kitchen with K-cup coffee maker were great on a rainy July day. It was easy to get around on the trolley. The large comfy bed had the best hotel pillows ever! Even though the room is close to the street it was QUIET! Can't wait to come back. "Perfect for our family"
Our two teenagers loved the Inn's style, the fact they could walk on their own to crepes, ice cream and shopping. We loved the cleanliness, knowledgeable, friendly staff and the kitchen. "A Real Gem"
From the moment we stepped inside it was absolutely delightful. The attention to detail is incredible & oh so very colorful. When we got to our room we we're impressed with the cleanliness but most of all loved the decor & full kitchen to boot. Parking in back is first come first serve & there are not a lot of spots which could be a problem for some […] although you can park on the street in front. This was our first time in The Pearl District & we love it. There are several ethnic restaurants near by on NW 23rd but If you're up for a bit of a walk definitely try the Bridgeport Brew Pub on Marshall! The only little complaint & it is (tiny)...neither my husband or I enjoyed eating the 'complimentary' breakfast with plastic cutlery. However for a self serve breakfast it has something for everyone & the lobby where breakfast is served is funky & cheerful. Coffee & tea are available 24/7 ... nice 'perk'. It is not a dog friendly Hotel but just down the street is a fabulous doggie Hotel ~ Noah's Arf & the rates are very reasonable. Check out the website. Yes we will absolutely stay here again & hopefully for more than one night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
