The Paramount Hotel

The hotel is overpriced. it really isn't all that nice considering what they want for a room. I do like to grab snacks and sodas out of vending machines occasionally, and the way they have theirs laid out is pretty ridiculous. There is a vending machine on about half the floors, which will either have snacks or drinks - not both. Of course they tell […] you which floors have which machine, but fail to mention things like "Oh, by the way, one of our drink vending machines has nothing but water in it. Good luck figuring out which one." Valet parking is convenient, but at 31 dollars a night, they're pushing the limits of my laziness, since there is a parking garage maybe 150 feet from where you drop your car off. And apparently if you book on hotels.com, they feel absolutely no need to give you a decent view. Ours was a killer look at the neighbor's dingy rooftop AC unit. Read more

I was very happy with the Paramount. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was courteous and helpful. The location was wonderful, just two blocks from Pioneer Square, across the street from a cinema, and half a block from Starbucks. Very happy with our choice. Comfortable queen-size beds in good sized room. Expensive parking (like all of the downtown hotels). No room service for breakfast. We were here less than 12 hours from check in to check out, but thought it was better than other places we have stayed in Portland. Would come again.

Very comfortable rooms and beds along with great room service. Our room had a balcony that was nice to step out for fresh air. Really appreciated the hotel's effort to be green with bedding/towel service for the multi-night guests. Nice lobby, but for valet parking it would've been nice to have someone greet you at the curb and have help with luggage. […] Other than that, I would recommend staying at this hotel for business or pleasure. Perfect two day stay with family while checking out college...took Max right from airport to hotel, and that is all we needed, everything else was walking distance...great food, shopping, have to check out food carts...only downfall, the fishy smell coming from restaraunt when you enter lobby...think we would have been better with it if we were able […] to indulge in happy hour, I heard it is fantastic...next time! We enjoyed our stay at the Paramount. It's a smaller hotel so we felt like we had more personalized service which was very nice. Great location close to public transportation (you can take the max train to the airport for under $5 for 2 people-recommend this), close to good shopping and restaurants as well. We would stay there again.

We had a very nice stay at the Paramount! Our room was very comfortable: clean, great shower and bed and pillows. And the staff was especially helpful, professional and yet very pleasant (a nice mix). We will stay there again on our next trip!

The Paramount Hotel was perfect for our needs. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was quite comfortable and clean. The location was great - downtown and within walking distance of restaurants and the light rail. Portland is a special city - a great place to visit. Looking forward for our future return visit to the Rose City.

電車の駅にもすごく近く、スタバ、コンビニ、レストラン。。。とても便利な場所です。ホテルの部屋も広くて清潔。それにどの部屋もエレベーターに近くて便利です。とにかく静かなホテルって印象です。また絶対次も泊まります。
