This is our second time staying at this hotel and we will definitely be using it again the next time we are in Portland. The 24 hour shuttle is a great service and always staffed by very friendly people. It's incredibly convenient to get a shuttle to/from the airport and also to/from the nearest MAX station so you can get into the city. The staff at […] the hotel itself has always been very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is the normal hotel fare, which is adequate for a free meal. The rooms themselves are overall good. We stayed two nights a week apart (bookending our trip for the flight to and from Portland). The first room was very nice: new, comfortable, and clean. The second room was still good but needed a little remodeling to make it truly superb. It was still clean and comfortable but things seemed a little old and worn. Not a big deal at all but not what I would call 'perfect'. We still highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for someplace near the airport that would like to travel in and out of the city. It's near the airport so it is easy to get settled when you arrive and easy to make your flight when you leave and it is close to a MAX rail station for a nice, cheap trip into the city proper. To top it off the price for a room with a single bed was very reasonable. Great option on all fronts. Read more

After spending a week in 4 different Portland hotels (price range $100-$150), this La Quinta hotel had the best breakfast options. Rooms were clean and attractive. Spacious and clean bathrooms.

The hotel was pleasant and the service generally good. Only a few points to make: 1) Flooded toilet by pool was out of service for hours; 2) Breakfast room was hectic, small and understaffed; 3) Volume control in one of our rooms was never fixed despite repeated requests 4) Laundry room was inadequate for this particular location/clientele.

Room was rather small, but clean and comfortable. How much room do you need to sleep for the night?? It was adequate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast selection. We will stay there again.

Its convenient location, close to the Portland Airport, is a definite plus. And the soundproofing is good; you don't hear the roar of jet engines overhead unless you go outside. The person that checked me in was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She even moved her vehicle to the street so I would have a place to park, since the parking lot was completely full. Also, access to and from the Portland Airport is very convenient and easy.

Shuttle drivers were extremely cordial and helpful. Motel was comfortable and clean. We did not have any noise issues with the airport being in close proximity.

Seems as of the vacuums at this hotel do not quite reach to the edge of the carpet against the wall. About 1" of dust all around the edge of the carpet and up the carpeted baseboard.

Good Shuttle service and good rates. The pool was nice not heavy with massive amounts of chlorine and the hot tub was nice. They had a crib ready when we arrived for are daughter. Room was clean and had lots of pillows. The breakfast was a vast improvement over a lot of the motels i have stayed in the past.

The location of the hotel was a bit awkward but the staff were available to shuttle to the airport and to the MET station. The staff were very accommodating and nice. The room was clean the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was way beyond continental--eggs, sausage and Belgium waffles! Yum!

That's all I ask of a hotel, but it amazes me how many miss those two simple qualities. The LaQuinta Inn at the Portland Airport hits them square on the mark, AND they are pet-friendly. We paid no additional charge for our canine traveling companion. For basic overnight accommodations in a convenient location this property was more than adequate. We […] had challenges locating "fast food" eateries nearby that weren't either at the nearby Mall or within PDX. After a long, tiring drive (with a dog) we needed a nearby takeout establishment to grab a meal and retire to our room. In fairness, we did not first consult with the hotel staff, relying instead on our GPS. The following morning, we were unable to sample the LaQuinta's included breakfast due to a crush of high school kids visiting Portland for a basketball tournament. The tiny breakfast nook was standing-room-only, but we easily found a couple of other suitable restaurants nearby. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Read more

The Hotel was nice for the price and area. The breakfast was better than most LaQuinta 's I stayed at but after two days it was enough. The shuttle was convenient and the staff was friendly, however they did not know much about what Portland offered for Tourist. We often stay near the PDX airport while visiting our kids. The La Quinta experience was a positive one. We liked the price and chose it over our normal hotel because it was about $25 per night less expensive. In hindsight, we probably would have pay the difference in the future for the larger space and better (restaurant) full breakfast, No complaints..just […] liked the all suite approach better. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times before. It has what you need. Great breakfast options (eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles etc.). The rooms are decent. You get a wide variety of channels for your room. It's in a great location to the airport, and it's also close to the freeways so if you need to get into downtown it's easy!

I've stayed at this hotel previously. Things with this hotel are great. Good breakfast, great service and you even get a wide range of television channels in your room. The only problem I have with this hotel is there is only one elevator. So if you have a lot of luggage, prepare to wait a bit.
