Just southeast of the Columbia and Willamette Rivers’ confluence, North Portland claims a very tall resident: Its famous Paul Bunyan statue stands at 35 feet. His verdant surroundings include Kelley Point Park, Pier Park, and the 2,000-acre Smith and Bybee Lakes Wildlife Area. Nearby, the Beaumont-Wilshire district—a specialty-shop hot spot—hosts the annual Fremont Fest celebration.

"Great location for my needs"
It was just what I needed, a good value and a clean room with the extras that made it work well. A refrig, microwave and WiFi.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to business destination"
Loved the breakfast buffet. Excellent food and beverage choices. Very quiet night considering how close to the Interstate the Inn is. No worries about the cleanliness of the room. Have stayed at this particular Days Inn several times and never disappointed. Other hotels could learn from this one, including other Days Inns.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice clean hotel"
Not sure what "smell" people are talking about in their reviews. I didn't notice anything, and would actually say this was one of the better Day's Inns' I've stayed in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent hotel for the price!"
I enjoyed this stay very much. the staff was friendly, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Clean rooms and clean common areas. Only two problems: Our A/C in the room was very loud!, and the ice maker on our floor was inoperable, so we had to go to the next floor down for ice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good place with good breakfast"
Overall, a good place to stay while you visit Portland. We rented a car so transportation was not an issue; although, the nearest train station is only about 1/2 miles away. The only problem I found was the room even though was a non-smoking room, the cigarette smell was pretty strong. Make sure to request to change room if you encounter the same problem. […] Other than this, the hotel was very good, I would recommend it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Very Clean, have a great breaksfast selection, friendly and helpful staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Felt that the rooms were spacious and clean. For the price and convience of freeway and food it was perfect for our business there. We were a family of 5 and they were very happy to accomodate us with late check in and a roll a way bed in our room within minutes of us checking in. Great hotel and I will stay there again!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Near PIR - great staff."
Whenever I head down for the races at PIR - I always stay here. I have once stayed at another nearby hotel. But I find the stay at the Days Inn more satisfying. I highly recommend them. The staff are always super. The breakfast alot better here , than others.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It's only 10-15mins, drive to downtown Portland and The Grotto. When we entered the hotel and approached the front desk, the receptionist was not looking up at us. The receptionist said the words "what can I help you with?" without even making eye contact or even smiling. That really turned us off. We didn't feel welcome. Walking along the hallways, […] there's a distinct smell, and I think it's coming from the carpet. Our room was very clean and tidy, and the room service was great. The only thing was that the sink in our room was clogged, and the toilet seat had cracks on it. Other than that, everything else was good! The lady in the breakfast area was really nice and accomodating. The parking is very convenient. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
