The room was smartly designed, although small. And the location was perfect to walk to Nob Hill and downtown. I have stayed here several times when visiting my daughter and I know the rooms for singles are small and the bathrooms even smaller but since I only sleep here and it's otherwise a very nice hotel I don't mind. Loved the hotel. The Hollywood Theme is a little cheesy why Hollywood in Oregon?!) but the building is lovely. The room was smallish but very comfortable-- especially the bed! The bathroom had lovely old fixtures but everything was super clean. The staff was lovely. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that there was a strange pulsating humming noise […] in my room. I was too tired to attempt to switch rooms,but when I inquired about whether this happened in other rooms, I was told they'd never heard of this so it may have been because my room was near a generator or something. The hotel had a great retro feel to it. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit small but the space was used nicely. The bathtub was somewhat clogged so the water built up when showering. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception that you can hear your neighbors flush the toilet or shower. We 1st were put in a rm that was not pleasing to us because of size & we were moved into 615 that accomodated both of us so much better. The front desk staff was very accomodating with that matter.
