Situated on the northeastern edge of the city, PDX is a 40-minute light rail ride away from downtown. While the airport’s Oregon Marketplace offers a full menu of shops (including a Powell’s Books), its food selection also impresses. Travelers have their pick of microbrews, German fare, and sushi, among other dishes. First opened in 1958, the airport serves 13 million travelers annually.see all hotels in Portland
"Outdated, Clunky Building"
Bathroom had separate room for toilet & tub with sinks outside the room - this is highly unsanitary as you wash your hands AFTER using the door handle after using the toilet. Hair from previous guest in tub. Room keys had to be exchanged twice for not working in rooms (another guest next to me had same problem). Elevators slow and creaky; could feel […] floor shake when waiting for elevator. Shower head too low if you are taller than 5'9". Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"AVOID SLEEP NUMBER BEDS IN ROOM 155 AT ALL COSTS!"
WE ALL HAD THE WORST NIGHT'S SLEEP IN ROOM 155 ON SLEEP NUMBER BEDS!! AVOID THIS ROOM AT ALL COSTS! THE TWO PAIR OF EARPLUGS PROVIDED BY THE RADISSON HOTEL HELPED BLOCK OUT THE MULTIPLE TRAINS THAT SOUNDED THEIR HORNS ALL NIGHT LONG! WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN. HOTEL CLERK AT FRONT DESK DID NOT ASK HOW OUR NIGHT'S STAY WAS SO I AM ALERTING YOU SO YOU DON'T […] MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. WILL STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE NEXT TIME. Response by Radisson Hotel Portland Airport We are sorry to hear you did not have a good night’s sleep due to the comfort of your bed. We know a good night’s rest is very important. For future consideration, we also have either firm or pillow top non-sleep number beds available. Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us and we hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations.
Our room had a Sleep Number Bed, which didn't work correctly on either side and made for an uncomfortable stay. The Hotel rents out it's parking lot as a park and fly and made a miserable experience for guest to try and find a space to park at night. It's a huge parking lot and the hotel was not booked over the Christmas holiday's, but we were left […] scrambling every night for a space to park. One night we had to park in a handicap spot as there were no other spots left in the lot and that was at 9PM. The sleep number bed had a mind of it's own and it was not possible to even inflate the mattress once you deflated it past your number, unless you got off the bed. One side would always have a lower number than what it was set at the night before. We could never tell which side was correct as we set both sides to the same number and you could tell the difference between sides. It's in an isolated location from any restaurants or other businesses other than their own. Their food was fair at best and it took far too long to be served and back out the door, when there were only a half dozen customers to begin with. It's not too far from the airport, but that's about the only plus I can say for this hotel. The staff was friendly, but that didn't help dealing with the problems caused by the hotels management policies. It was the most disappointing experience I've ever encountered with this chain. "Teenagers would love it"
Most professionals who are used to Marriott or Hilton hotels would be very disappointed here. We arrived at 10 pm and were greeted by a friendly, but messy looking, front desk person. The walls in the hallways were all scuffed and banged up. We walked into out room and immediately were hit with a strong smell of marijuana. The bathroom was tiny. We […] were too tired to complain, and our stay was just one night. The sleep number bed was comfortable, but bedding was spartan. Breakfast was a granola bar near the front desk. Never again. Since I had booked this room, I was embarrassed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Sleep Number Bed Debacle"
I originally asked for a room with 2 queen beds, but they were unavailable, so we got 1 king instead. The "King" Sleep Number bed was 2 twin beds pushed together with a crack in between. One side of the bed was rock-hard and it felt like sleeping on a concrete floor. The other side was like a deflated air mattress. There was a 10 inch difference in […] height between the 2 sides. My friend slept on the couch instead of her side of the bed. I spoke to the front desk regarding the problem, and they sent Maintenance up to fix it. Turns out the "lines were crossed" on the air valves. We desperately needed a good night sleep as we had moved/packed a U-haul all day and had a 10 hour drive the next...but the bed was still extremely uncomfortable. By early morning both sides of the bed had "deflated". Upon checking out I told the front desk that our second night of "sleep" was worse than the first. The desk attendant apologized but said, "Since you booked through Expedia I can't do anything." Huh, I thought I booked through Hotels.com and I thought customer service was still around... "Property not deserving of Radisson name"
There is no insulation in the walls or ceiling. Heard the child above jumping until well after midnight. Also heard the voices from the next room. The staff was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Radisson Hotel Portland Airport Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on your recent stay with us. I am terribly sorry that you were disturbed by noise from other guests with small children. As with all Radisson properties, our goal is to provide our guests with a quiet and restful stay. In spite of our best efforts to keep noise to a minimum there are occasions when noise from other guests may be heard. Again, I apologize that this occurred during your stay.
Just fine!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Location is the only thing it has going for it."
The pictures of this hotel makes it look much more appealing than it actually is. The service at the hotel is mediocre at best, and I wished after our first night there that we had not already paid for the hotel. They did not clean our room well, and did not come in between each of the four days we stayed there to clean either. We had to call the front […] desk to ask them to come and get our trash and bring new towels. The staff seemed nice enough, but it was not enough to make up for the loud banging upstairs on 4th floor in the middle of the night and the flickering lights in the bathroom. The shower had very low water pressure. Overall, this was a disappointing experience for our family. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
