Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel. Hotels.com got me a good price on a room with a large bed and comfortable furnishings. Everything was clean and very pretty. The cost of internet was very high and they do not offer affordable parking, which is unfortunate. The restaurants around are all relatively high end for basic dinner. You have to walk […] a ways to get to cheaper dinner places, but there are a lot of good breakfast and lunch options right by the hotel. It has a beautiful entrance. The location of the hotel is great and so convenient to everything downtown. The room was clean and spacious for the two of us. They hotel is a great location when you want to go shopping. And when you'r in Oregon, it's hard not to, there's no sales tax! The only thing that I noticed is that the rooms did not have refrigerators. It didn't bother me but heads up on that.

Good location. Downtown lots of shopping but expensive.Next time I might try a bit further out to avoid high prices.Also a bit of an issue with the advertisement. The free wifi was only in the lobby and bar. 12.99 per day in the room.

Very nice, clean rooms. On the small side. Very small bathroom. No frig, no breakfast. Very convenient - most areas walkable and safe. Hotel personnel very nice. Some loud parties in meeting room areas, but rooms are quiet. Parking expensive at $22/day. Underground lot is small, but 2nd lot 2 blocks away.

Great location! Room was kind of small. It didn't have a mini fridge. But I asked about it, and housekeeping brought one 30 minutes later (no extra charge). The service was excellent. Front desk very helpful.

Very comfy beds. Some kind of weird thumping noise all night and day so bring earplugs. Sauna, hot tub, pool and steam room were all great but only open until 9:45. Room was very clean and comfortable. Also very quiet. Pillows and comforter were all down which was wonderful, but the mattress was certainly on the soft side. (Back issues cause sleeping on soft mattresses fairly painful, so if you have a similar issue you might want to ask for a firm mattress or the newest bed available.) Remember you have to pay […] for parking downtown, and if someone offers you complimentary parking get it in writing! The Supervisor that checked me in denied offering this service the next day. (Also, if you want to cut your expense from $22 a night to $4.50, there is an additional parking garage half a block down the street.) The personnel were excellent and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, but it was reserved for three guests, and there were only two coffee cups and two waters. As for the restaurant in the lobby of the main hotel, the food was excellent but for breakfast, our waiter asked us if we all wanted orange juice (this was before we put in our order). The staff at the front desk are always so nice and helpful. It is a good location for staying downtown as it is within walking distance of many things. The one thing that was disappointing was there was no fridge in the room and we had to change or remote for the TV 2 times and it still did not work.

We drove down from Tacoma with friends to enjoy some Fall activities over a weekend. We stayed just one evening on Saturday. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating - they showed us the nearest park to walk our dog without even having to ask. The concierge was also friendly and helpful. The location was the best part of staying in this hotel-right downtown and within walking distance to restaurants, attractions, etc. However, as mentioned in previous reviews, the rooms in the main tower are a bit on the small side (when compared to the Embassy Suites or Marriott), so if you intend on staying for longer than a couple nights I'd suggest […] paying for a room in the Executive tower or heading to another hotel. Additionally, the pool/fitness area is wonderful-what you would expect at a Hilton property. Lots of exercise machines and a well maintained large pool/spa area. Typically like to stay at more "interesting" hotels when in Portland, but for the rate this was well worth it. Pretty central downtown location, within 2 blocks of the MAX. If you're looking for a brand hotel at a very reasonable rate this is a good choice.

Everything about this hotel was above average. Only one complaint I had was with their airport shuttle service. I asked several front desk people about the next morning shuttle and 2-3 told me I would be fine leaving at a certain time. The next morning there was a marathon on the streets, but that was OK I planned to be way ahead of time. I walked a […] block away from the marathon where the shuttle was supposed to be. I was there 10 minutes early and stayed 20min after the pick up time was. Ended up taking a cab and spending over $40 to make sure I got to my flight in time.
