The people who work there is the reason for my high assessment. The evening person was a real dear, took our pictures for us, was a wealth of information,... and very nice. His sister and her husband own the hotel, and it's a family ran affair. It's a little out of the way, but the light rail and buses run nearby. I would stay there again if I visit the area. We booked this hotel due to a last minute vacation decision. Everything else was either booked or too expensive for our budget. The hotel has a good location, literally 5 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes to a lot of good eateries on the East side. Though the condition of the overall facility is not good, bathrooms, elevators and pretty much everything […] would love to get a facelift. Additionally, I think due to the lower price, the type of guests staying are younger and noisier (especially after midnight). Not good when you have atrip with your kid and parents, like we did.
