    The hotel was just off the interstate but it is located in a shopping area that made it feel like you were in the suburbs. Outback Steakhouse, Carraba's... (had an excellent meal), and Draft House Cinemas (serve you dinner at your movie seat) are all in the same parking area. An Aldi market, McDonald's (if you have to), gas station, and best of all a Bloop (frozen yogurt self-serve emporium, like 16 Handles) are also right next door. We didn't even drive our car around the parking lot of these places, just walked from one to the other. The hotel pool/jacuzzi were really nice, the staff super friendly and helpful (they even had eggs from the Easter Bunny on Easter morning!), and breakfast was great.     I had no idea what to expect. I booked the hotel because it was a convenient place to sleep overnight on a drive from GA to NY. The hotel is strangely located among lots of businesses but nicely decorated and comfortable.     This Country Inn and Suites is a new hotel, but the air conditioning units are very noisy and come on and go off waking us up all night, so we just had to turn it off. Older A/C units allow a "Fan Only" selection that maintains white noise, but these do not. I probably would not stay here again.

    When we arrived about 8:30 PM there was no parking available. After abt 10 mins a car left. Desk clerk explained that there was a meeting and aerobics class.     Pets welcome. The suite was very. Clean and roomy. Outback delivers, your dog can have steak with you. Staff. Was friendly and helpful. Real plates, bowls, and glasses at breakfast. No styrofoam.

    When booking the Country Inn and Suites, we were not sure what to expect seeing we had never stayed with this chain. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and the staff was just great! We walked away saying that we would look at staying here again if we needed to be in the area! We would recommend this location to anyone!

    comfortable studio room, a bit pricey for the area. Breakfast was busy but managed to find a table, staff had no time to wipe food spils from previous guests. Coffee was good, got in too late to try the pool.

    Although the customer service was not very welcoming upon arrival, the room was a welcome sight. It was clean and comfortable in all ways. It was quite roomy and we enjoyed the plentiful breakfast.

    The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson in Winchester, VA, is a very new hotel. The kids enjoyed the pool. Although the pool was on the smaller size, it was 3 to 5 feet deep and could be fully enjoyed by everyone there. There are pleanty of restaurants within a few hunded feet and a movie theater that is practically across the parking lot. The exit from […] Rt81 to Rt.11 is short and you should stay right as you get on Rt.37 or you will miss the exit for Rt.11. The buffet breakfast was the best of 2 others we have had on this trip.     Every thing was great. The only problem was parking. When we came back late at night we had to park at the movie theatre parking area, because cars were taking up two spots, cars with trailer took up 3 or 4 places. Very upsetting
