The Wingate was in really good shape--clean, well-maintained, well laid-out and all important things helpfully labeled. Staff were friendly and helpful, free parking, easy convenience off the interstate. Several chain restaurants within walking distance, but stay away from Glory Days. No need to look elsewhere. This hotel is very well managed and staffed. The rooms are VERY roomy, clean and comfortable. The staff was always cheerful and very helpful. If you need something, they'll go above and beyond to help you. The complimentary HOT breakfast is well worth taking advantage of. The business center a nice perk w/ free copier/fax, […] office supplies, etc... Steps from the lobby are several restaurants/pubs for lunch, dinner (and a cold beer). Jim Barnett Park is within walking distance from the hotel for outdoor exercise and the fitness room in the hotel is also very nice.
