"Family visit"

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights the first time and 2 nights the second time. This is not a top of the line hotel but it certainly provided the necessities we need for this trip. "Good for price"
Room was clean. No place to store luggage. Pool extremely small & someone had their pit bull running loose in the gated pool area. Not much for breakfast so we went to Denny's. Do not recommend Denny's! Service was really bad. Hotel located in an area that has empty buildings around it but didn't have any problems. I am very satisfied with my stay. The price and the rating drew me to this hotel and did not expect much. To my big surprise the quality of the room was equal to the big name hotel with the exception of the towels. "Didn't feel comfortable"
The hotel parking lot behind the building is round as it's adjacent to the off ramp of the highway - which give you an idea of its close proximity to it. The parking lot is closed off by the trash area (you can't go around the buikding) which makes you feal as being trapped. Furthermore none of the access doors requires any keycard - they are open all […] the time (at least druing our waking hour.) Our window was facing the other side of the building which shares the parking lot of the Denny's next door - only that ours was blocked by one of three shipping containers (the version you see on freight ships) randomly "parked" there. This hotel is in a poor neiborhood. It also has very small rooms and the breakfast is not very good at all, no one was even re-stocking the food as it was being eaten. The pictures are very mis-leading the pool in the picture look very big but when we got there we seen a very small pool. I booked this hotel for 1 night because I got a great price. My boyfriend and I just flew in from Las Vegas and was staying over 1 night to go to the zoo. We live in Chico and this was our last hoorah on our vacation. Having close freeway access was a plus.
