We had asked for a non-smoking room and that is what we got, but the room and corridor outside were very smoky. We had to put a rolled up towel under the door to keep the smoke out of our room. I was upset when we first arrived and ended up having to pay a fee for our dog, even though I called ahead of time and asked about this. The guy said no, no extra fee... Annoying really. The blankets had many stains and recent spills. We were only given one washcloth for two people. The air -conditioner sounded like an engine. We had to have it on the entire night to keep the room cool. I felt like I had come out of a rock concert when I woke up. The breakfast consisted of only carbs. "Nothing to see here."
Close to the freeway. That is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The whole place smelled bad. The walls and floors were so thin. Stained carpet, not so clean walls. This motel was not 3 stars by a long shot. Bed was saggy, paint was coming off the walls in the bathroom, carpets were stained, smoking smell was prevalent in the hallways and the elevator, linens were scratchy as if no fabric softener was used during washing, sink stopper would not work.
