Over-all this was a pleasant one-night stop on our way to Boston. The desk staff was helpful, and the room was clean. The bed and pillows were not as comfortable as some, but it was ok. "Great for business people!"
My husband and I went to New York for Christmas and New Years. We transferred this hotel from midtown Manhattan for New Years because the hotels in New York were all booked up and we wanted to stay for New Years. The hotel is not as convenient as they say it is it's 75 dollars to get a cab ride back to manhattan and that's not including toll fares. […] You can take the train back in to NY Penn Station from the Rahway Station but it costs 35 dollars for two people each time and takes 40 to 45 minutes. This hotel says that they offer free shuttle to take you to the airport, train station and the New Jersey Gardens Hotel but the shuttle was not always available like they said it was. So if you have to take a cab to the train station it's 10 dollars plus tip and the same from the train station to the hotel. We couldn't even get the shuttle to take us to the airport when we left on the 1rst it cost us 40 dollars. Great hotel for business people but for family or even couples looking to spend time in the city you might want to look for a different hotel. The staff was okay helpful wise and it was clean and they did serve you breakfast but there is nothing to do around this hotel but to shop and the New Jersey Gardens Mall and that's it. "Great staff but awful location and breakfast"
room good as well as the hotel staff However, the location is really isolated even close to the interstate. There is also extremely close an Electric plant. Another claim is that the breakfast doesn't exist really considering it poor is something more than it was. "Not worth it if you just need a place to sleep"
Family of 4 just need a place to sleep for the trip going from NYC to Philly. The beds are excellent. It even has control to adjust the mattress firmness on each side of the bed. Unfortunately, I need 2 doubles but they did not have any 2 bed room available during check-in. With just 1 king sized bed, I asked for a rollaway during check-in. They never […] deliver it until I got to reception in person at midnight. The only one they had is tilted to the left because 2 wheels on one side is broken. This hotel should only be used by needy business travelers. You have a great view of the NJ turnpike and a power station. The staff were very nice and the hotel is fine, but the only thing close is an industrial park. The lounge is only open from 5:30 till 10:30. The food was edible but over priced. This hotel is not well kept. Recently stayed there and found the location to be dreary. Its right next to a huge cluster of electrical grids/towers and some electronic warehouse. This place is a dump! The management is awful! Do not believe their claim for a free shuttle. they could not find the driver for over an hour. Hairs were all over our first room. Night manager told us at 1am tha she didnt have the power to fix things for us but to wait until 9:30 to talk with day manager. Waited for him for 25 minutes while his staff looked for him.
