As its name implies, Green Tree brims with green space across the river from downtown Pittsburgh. Among the borough’s nine parks, the expansive Green Tree Park hosts Octoberfest each year. Municipal Center Park offers walking paths, bocce-ball and shuffleboard courts, and a spacious gazebo. For an indoor stroll, visit the shops at Parkway Center Mall.

the hotel is an old mediocre hotel. from the start i knew that i was going to book the cheapest mid-level hotel i could find. I was worried after reading some of the reviews that the place would be too rough to tolerate. I found that hotel staff to be very nice, the bar gave two free drinks to my gf and i each night, the breakfast had a very large selection […] of food, and the location was really convenient (just outside the city). The pool was kinda lame, the bed was tolerable, and the room was noticeably aged. For the money saved it was definitely worth it, would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location"
The hotel was easy to access off the highway. It was very easy to get to and from PNC Park from the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The only complaint we had was that the ice machine was empty the whole evening.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Amazing Hotel!!"
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we both overly enjoyed ourselves. The only complaint we had was that the pool was a bit smaller than we had expected it to be, but it was still a nice, friendly and comfortable hotel to stay in. I would definitely reccommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Economy Stay"
Our stay was perfect! The hotel does not have the glitz and glamour of a downtown hotel, but was a great basic room. The shuttle service made it just as good as being downtown. The only complaint was when I tried to call before I came to come earlier it took me over an hour to talk to somebody... the desk staff are very friendly but can be a bit ch […] atty! "Unsatisfied in Pittsburg"
We stayed at this hotel New Years Eve night. It would have been a perfect stay had it not been for a few incidentals. The place was just plain dirty, there is not excuse for that. The staff was friendly and accomodating but they dressed like slobs which made you feel like you were in a second rate hotel, They adverised a hot tub there was none. The […] steam room in the ladies locker room did not work. The price should have been alot less for this hotel Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Within 7 minutes of Three rivers casino"
We needed a place that was close to the casino as that's where we were planning on heading. This was a short ride (tho a few twist and turns) to the Casino. Front desk folks were very nice. Motel was older but at least it was very clean, (my main concern). They have a breakfast but we didn't make it up in time. I believe it only goes till 9:00 am. I […] think it may be the closest one to the casino actually, I didn't really see any other ones around. Toilet and sink did run a little slow, but powerful shower which is always a plus with my husband. I would stay at this Best Western again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Western Parkway Center, Pittsburgh, PA"
We enjoyed the convenience here; music to our tired ears that a shuttle could take us where we had reservations to be, and pick us up...no driving in traffic trying to find it. Pleasant and helpful front desk personnel; drivers; continental breakfast and computer access made things easier, too. Room was just right for our needs. Thanks again for ev […] erything! "Gross!"
This hotel was disgusting. The room was the smallest room I have ever been in (and I've been to Europe) and my husbands head touched the ceiling walking down the halls, just an all around gross experience! PLEASE RENOVATE!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Western- Best Budget Choice in Pittsburgh!"
We stayed at the Best Western Parkway Center in Pittsburgh over the Easter break for 7 days in a double, smoke-free room. Amenities included were free wifi in the room, a computer center, very convenient free shuttle to several points of interest in Pittsburgh, free breakfast, a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer in the room, well equipped […] gym with cardio machine and weights; well maintained indoor 3' to 6'' pool and hot tub, and a very generous happy hour each day offering 2 free drinks per person (including beer and mixed drinks). This was a bargain at less than what other hotels in the vicinity were charging. Staff was phenomenally kind, friendly accommodating and quick to respond to customer needs. No one ever seemed in a rush or bothered by customer requests. Besides the staff, the shuttle is the hotel's best feature. Using the shuttle to drop us off and pick us up from many areas of Pittsburgh saved us a bunch on transportation and eliminated the frustration of getting lost. All we had to do was reserve our place and time for drop off and then call again for pick up when we were done. Walking distance from the hotel is a Kmart and Giant Eagle supermarket, and a short drive away on Noblestown Rd are several restaurants (including a Chinese buffet), a Dollar Tree, and Rite Aid. I've stayed in more pricey, upscale hotels, but this Best Western was by far the best in terms of its offerings and price range. Well worth another visit! We took the Megabus from NYC to Pittsburgh for less than thirty round trip! So we'll definitely find time and money to visit Pittsburgh again! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A good value"
This hotel is only about 20 minutes from the cultural center in Pittsburgh, but compared to the downtown hotels, it is very reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, the room comfortable -if a bit noisy- and the breakfast very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
