First opening in 1992, the PIT measures 2.1 million square feet and occupies 10,000 acres. It’s no surprise, then, that more than 11 million travelers pass through the airport each year. Its 100 shops and restaurants offer plenty for the casual browser or the souvenir hunter. Connecting to Pittsburgh via the Fort Pitt Tunnel, the airport is less than a half-hour’s drive from downtown Pittsburgh.

Beautiful room close proximity to the Pittsburgh International Airport. We requested a room with two beds booked through the online site. Much to our surprise, when we arrived after midnight we had only one king bed for four adults. Fortunately, they sent up a cot. Really feel like we should have been notified regarding the lack of sleeping accommo […] dations. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Never Again!"
We checked in late (~1:30am) and we were given a wheelchair accessible room with 2 double beds. We booked, and paid for a king room. When I called down to reception I was told there were no King rooms available and you were NOT guaranteed a specific room- Why is there a different rate for different rooms if this was not taken into account and respected. […] With this being a wheelchair accessible room the bathroom "floods" when you take a shower, as the drain is in the middle of the bathroom floor, not the shower floor. I called reception to again explain I was not satisfied with this room and again I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I was terrified I would slip on the wet floor in the middle of the night and used 6 bath towels to dry the floor! The friends who we checked in with were given a King room when they booked 2 double beds and there was people in the room they checked into! It was not a very happy outcome. "Not worth the money"
TV channels didnt work half the time, pillows are hard, creamers for coffee were bad, Internet was not free and required logging on two three times a day, no free coffee in morning, for a marriott was very disappointed...........Genuine Expedia guest review
"Noisy Hallways, Broken A/C, No Free WiFi"
Great location, spacious room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. I give this hotel a "Poor" rating for 3 reasons: 1) You have to pay for internet in your room. Very surprised by this since many hotels offer free WiFi. 2) It was extremely noisy. A wedding reception was going on in the lobby (which permeates to the 3rd floor) and it was chaotic. […] The walls in the room are thin and you can hear other guests. Also, loud guests/children would roam the halls and staff ignored it. 3) The A/C in our room was broken. The thermostat read 68 degrees but it felt like 80 degrees. Only stayed at this hotel because of the price. Next time, I'll just "splurge" and go to the Hampton Inn.
