"Worst Hotel I've ever stayed in"
I've stayed in cheep hotels in at least a dozen states. This is the only one that I won't stay in ever again. I was really limited to choices in the area which would allow our dog, but I'd rather drive an extra 40 minutes and stay up in Somerset or even camp in a tent over ever staying here again. As soon as we arrived before we even checked in we were […] approached by 2 sketchy people in the parking lot wanting a cigarette. The room seemed nice enough until I pulled back the sheet and there was a long black hair on the middle of the pillow. Pulled the cover down further and the bed clearly hadn't been changed since the last customer. Besides the messy sheets there was another long brown hair in the middle of it. It's bad enough that they don't change the bedspread between customers, but not changing the sheets was too much. I booked this hotel because it was on hotels.com, but I'm going to recommend to hotels.com that they don't carry this hotel any longer. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. It was overall comfortable to stay for one night. Bathroom was clean but water was not draining quickly. Liked that sink is separated from shower and located outside of bathroom. Room was adequate ands well-maintained. There was only one chair in the room, and it looked like a small table may have been removed. Exactly one towel, washcloth, and hand towel for each guest. This motel is the height of "plain vanilla"! It's inexpensive and serves its purpose - a comfortable spot to sleep while on the road. This wouldn't be your vacation-of-a-lifetime destination but the room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is convenient, and the price is right. Don't expect much for breakfast!
