"A Little Pricey but good for one night"
The hotel is in good condition, the staff are helpful and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The location, as is the case for nearly all San Marcos hotels, is not that great being on I35, but for a night, was OK. The front desk help was the best. Very helpful and really added to our experience. Good advice and helpful for future stays. I wish she worked every place we will stay in the future. I was concerned that the property next to the hotel was an apartment complex. They were quiet and my wife and I felt safe. The parking lot was small but we were not crowded […] in. At first we thought the hotel would be run down or a little crappy, but to our surprise it was very nice,clean room. The woman at the front desk was there three of the days we stayed and she was extremely friendly,helpful , and nice! Even gave me some milk for cereal at 1 pm. when breakfast stopped at 10. We stayed there 2 nights to attend my daughter's wedding & rehersal in Kyle, Tx the rooms were clean & smelled nice.. mabe a little over done on the air freshner. Only a few complaints.. but nothing major.. they dont have very good access to plugs for laptop computer.. they only left me 1 bag of decaff the first night & then 1 bag of caffinated coffee […] the second night.. kinda strange but it was ok..All & all was a comfortable stay ..
