"Ok for overnight"
The hotel is old with undesirable hotels next to it and people hanging out. The room itself was ok but the outside landscape needed up keep. After spending two nights at this hotel, I find myself wondering why I didn't just spend the extra money for a nicer hotel. The noisy plumbing and paper thin walls did not allow for a restful night. The hotel has very loud windows. When a door closes, the plexi-glass rattles. The hotel is not of good value in my opinion as I stayed in similar places for much lower cost. "OK in a Pinch"
The hotel was conveniently liocated. I arrived at 1 pm and check in was at 3 pm. Other hotels I have visited have let me check in when I arrive. This hotel did not. the air conditioner took HOURS to cool the room. I went to bed hot and crancky and did not sleep well until the wee hours of the morning. Added to that, the toilet started running around 5 AM, and each time you went in or out of the door, it slammed, shaking the entire room. A room for 4 and only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths, carpet squares used as base board, musty smelling bed spreads, holes in the wall close to the floor. "Hotel did not promise what is advertised."
The room we stayed in promised a refrigerator and microwave. None were provided. The beds were uncomforatble and the pillows were flat and too small to relax the neck and head. The ice machine was broken and the pool was green and dirty. When the heater was turned on and set for a certain temperature, the heater kept turning on and off on its own without […] properly heating the room. The showers and the restroom were clean with only two towels. Gave us more towels when we asked the front desk, but the towels were small gym towels used for workouts. We had to provide our own wash soap and shampoo. The hair dryer did not work. The room came with an ironing board but no iron. The location was great. It was near I-35, the outlet mall and near Austin and San Antonio. The surrounding area was nice. Breakfast was not bad with a variety of cereal brands and cinnamon rolls with coffee, orange or apple juice. For the money I paid I thought the quality of the hotel was going to be pretty good.
