    The Super 8 Lookout Mountain is not a five-star hotel. As long as you know that going in, you'll enjoy it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the... room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired, but it was free, so... eh. The hotel's proximity to local attractions was a huge plus. In fact, I don't think there were any hotels closer. All in all, I would stay there again, but I'd probably eat at the Waffle House next door. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 31, 2013

    Overall the hotel was a little disappointing. Room was clean, but ac unit cover was broken and kept falling off the unit. Evidence of remodels/maintenance not very well covered in bathroom. Noise factor in room was moderate leading to believe the chain skimped on insulation and sound proofing from adjacent or above rooms. Breakfast was skimpy.

    the guy at the front desk was rude and short in answering our questions. NO ELEVATOR! We were on the second floor, and at 12:30 at night, after driving all day, that SUCKED. The rooms were really nice though, and the bed was very comfy.

    The rooms are tiny and they don't maintain the hotel. We had a third floor room and had to lug suitcases up stairs while people were coming down and going up. We had hot water in the sink faucet but had try to take ice cold showers. DON"T STAY IN THIS HOTEL..........
