My son is a skateboarder, and occasionally we come to Rye Airfield for a nice getaway! This I think is the best hotel we've been in yet! Looks recently renovated, and the beds are so comfy! Me and my other half have stayed at this hotel more then once and I enjoy everything about it. The hot tub and pool are my favorite. We loved the condition of this hotel and the quality of the room. Rooms are painted pleasing, current colors, not the usual drab off-white. Modern, up-to-date decor. "Excellent hotel - no complaints"
Check-in was easy. The room was beautiful, comfortable bed, pillows, linens; entire room and bathroom - very clean & smelled good. Very nice heating/cooling appliance. We went with another couple and we both had adjoining rooms, but were across the hall from each other. We did not use the adjoining rooms. It was quiet in our room, although the other […] couple said they could hear everything through their adjoining room. Breakfast was really good, waffles, hard boiled eggs, 4 cereal choices, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit, juice, tea, coffee, bagels/bread etc. for toast. I noticed that the staff kept a sharp eye on everything and attended to it constantly. Our friends tried the coffee and didn't like it.
