You never know what you're going to get with chain/franchise hotels; you can stay at a "quality inn" that's super fancy, or one that's dank and dirty. The Lancaster La Quinta is clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful too. We'll definitely stay here again when we need to.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The heat register was very noisy and kept waking us up whenever it went on. Breakfast was fine - there was a large crowd and there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit and eat. Overall, a very comfortable stay and so convenient to shopping.

Best hotel service I have had the pleasure in staying at in a long time! Made spur of the moment reservation. Receptionist at front desk pleasant and gave good info about local attractions. Room clean: microwave and refrigerator a plus and they worked! Hotel offers coffee and tea x 24 hours a day. Reasonable rate. Would recommend to anyone.

This was the best hotel by far that we have stay at. We travel with are dog they where very very pet friendly!!! The staff was wonderful. When we visit Lancaster this would be the hotel we would stay at again. They where very clean. They are right in the middle of everything from the outlet to dutch wonderland and sight and sounds.

The hotel is pretty new about a year old. It's very near to Lancaster's favorite destination. Whether you're there for the theatre or shopping, it'll be easy for you to come back, freshen up and go out again. Restaurants are near the hotel too so there is no problem in getting hungry. A perfect hotel in a perfect location.

We were in town for shopping at the outlets and browsing through the shops in Intercourse, PA. It was convenient to all of this - well kept, friendly staff, decent (yet simple) breakfast. Can't really complain about anything. Rate could have been a little bit lower - I wouldn't call it a "bargain" - but it wasn't a rip off either.

Friendly staff in a new hotel. Decent mini-breakfast and very clean rooms. A bit odd that you can hear noisy upstairs neighbors banging around at all hours. I would have thought there would be a little bit more sound roofing to accommodate selfish noisy guests. The htel unfortunately cannot chose their patrons or teach them manners. My husband and I were looking forward to staying in this hotel since all of the other reviews were so positive. When we arrived we were directed to the third floor. When we got up to the third floor the arrows directing us to our room were in the wrong direction so we had to walk up and down the hall a few times (with all of our luggage) to find the […] correct room. When we opened the door to our room the room was freezing as the heat was completely turned off (in the middle of December). The rooms were small and we were very disappointed to find out pets were permitted. (this is our fault as we should have realized this prior to booking) On the positive side, the room was very clean, the hotel personnel friendly and the breakfast was nice. Even though the hotel is close to route 30 we couldn't hear any traffic noises. My husband enjoyed the exercise room and the pool area was nice. Read more

Nice hotel, only a year or so old....rooms very clean and comfortable. Only couple of complaints...we were a big family and had need for two rooms. No adjoining, best we could do was have across the hall. We had small children and had to leave the doors open, flipping the security latch so that the doors wouldn't close. Problem with that is when the […] children opened the door, the door hitting the latch was loud...the manager came and told us that other guests were complaining...if the rooms were adjoining, wouldn't have been an issue. The pool area was VERY small, our pool at home is bigger and I only have a 33 foot by 18 inch oval above-ground). Acoustics were TERRIBLE...lots of echo....6 kids in pool sounded like 60. Can't imagine what it is like in summer. Must say pool water was nice temperature, nice surprise. Hot tub could comfortably fit 4 - 6....4 would be comfortable. Smallest hot tub have ever seen.. Name of hotel misleading....La Quinta Inn AND SUITES. Have been to other hotel chains where the rooms were with a bedroom AND living room....THAT is a SUITE to me. Only one tv in room, no couch or love seat. Very crowded....adults had to go to bed with kids, tv on in room with them would have kept them up. Probably wouuldn't go back if had children with me....may otherwise. Location was great, another good feature, slightly off the main drag, but close to everything you could possibly need. The bed sheets smelled like someone had already slept on them! The ice bucket has 3 inches of water in it, I guess from prior ice use. Hair around tub and on bathroom floor...not ours. Pretzels around and under bed...not ours! The breakfast was very nice, the counter staff helpful, the house keeping staff stink! Nice place, close, and convenient. Good breakfast and clean. Staff was nice and accomodating. However, beds are very hard, pillows are feather, no support. Walls are very thin you hear EVERYTHING. Curtains are too small letting in the light from the street and parking lot.

We loved the indoor pool and how close it was to Intercourse. Breakfast was lacking. No kid cereals for our toddler. Cleaning staff very unprofessional. When we walk out of our room we could hear them cursing and talking about how gross one of the bedrooms were. Other then that we had a good time.

There isn't really much to say other than everything is pretty great. Modern updated rooms, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, good pool, and a nice breakfast. I think it would be difficult for anyone to find fault here and if they do, they are just trying to find something.

We arrived at 11:30am and were told check-in was not until 3:00pm. The female at the desk seemed disinterested and did not even look up our reservation to make sure we were confirmed; told us check-in was at 3:00. She seemed quite rude. Other than that our stay was good. Breakfast was good. Hotel was nice and new.

We recently stayed at LaQuinta in Ronks, PA, right in the heart of Amish Country. The location was perfect for the sights we wanted to visit. One of my criteria for a hotel room is to walk in and feel like the room is being used for the first time. I definitely found this to be the case at this hotel. My one and only complaint, and it's note really that, is that the beds were a bit high. Being vertically challenged, I really felt like I was climbing to get into bed at night. I also appreciated the free Wifi and enjoyed using my Ipad. The breakfast was fine and certainly anyone could find something to eat. Someone else had mentioned the hard boiled eggs being a bit of an odd selection. I agree, but then again I didn't take one and there were plenty of other choices! The waffles were fun to make and were a nice splurge! Staff members were pleasant and helpful. The light next to the door wasn't working. Stayed for a night with a friend, for the NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove. Location was convenient, in relation to the track. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet... What more could I ask for? I love that it's pet freindly, (although I had no pet with me, this time). Bottom line, I would have no problem getting a room there in the future.

Very clean and comfortable room. Hotel seems quite new. Two very comfortable queen beds in our room with flat screen tv, microwave and fridge. Located right across from Lancaster outlets. Great place to stay when in Lancaster. Highly recomend.
