"Surprised to see a dirty Embassy Room"
I stay at Embassy's often and was extremely surprised to see the room my family and I had was so dirty. The bed spreads were old and dingy loing to the point the material was balling up. This hotel was very nice! It has all the bells & whistles - actually much more than I needed or took advantage of. I was in town for the Flying Pig Marathon, and this was in walking distance of everywhere I needed to be that weekend. It was VERY nice to be able to park my car at the hotel and not have to deal with the extensive city traffic on race […] weekend. The hotel was beautiful, in a decent neighborhood, and my room was very nice. the only issue I had was that the room thermometer was broken, which significantly decreased my personal comfort level. "Great Stay"
We stayed here for the Flying Pig Marathon. The whole experience was great. They set up a special early breakfast for the runners, which was much appreciated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a couple special requests that they accommodated with no problems. We got a late check out, which we would have hoped could have been a bit later. "The room just was not clean."
Upon entering the hotel, I presented my parking pass to the front desk. They looked at it and handed it back to me without validating it. When I went to leave the parking garage, a hassle. Miss #1. I am a Diamond member and was not acknowledged as such. The front desk seemed to be annoyed at having to check me in. The first question they asked was: […] "so you are going to try to check in early?". This after I had called and was told it would be no problem. The hotel was DEAD at the time... no wonder. Miss 2 & 3. Upon entering my room, I noticed two of the tables and one of the counters were sticky. I had to wipe them off myself before I could set anything on them. A soft drink had been spilled all over and not cleaned. There was mold in the corners of the bathroom and the toilet did not properly flush. Misses 4, 5 & 6. There were more , but after so many the problem is clear. The staff has a lack of caring. It is obvious when the front desk is only slightly polite and not at all welcoming. "OVER BOOKED!"

"Not a good hotel experience"
We had to move into three different rooms upon checking in. First room had not been used in a while, was very strong musty and moldy smelling. Lights were not plugged in, telephone did not have a cord for use. We requested moving into another room. Second room had a very strong clorine smell like we were at the pool. We were informed the pool was being […] closed the next day for repairs. Requested moving again. Third room had just had the carpet replaced and we thought OK. Went to turn down the beds and the sheets had holes in them from over useage and a huge blue stain on the mattress cover showing thru the sheets. We checked the other bed mattress cover had visiable stains on them as well. Bathroom floor had a huge stain in front of tub on the tiles and hair in the floor. There was no housekeeping on duty so the maintenance staff cleaned and changed the sheets. To me, as a paying customer and we spent the evening changing rooms instead of enjoying our trip, was unacceptable. "Only slightly better than average hotel."
