Overall the room comfortable. The room was clean and the continental breakfast included waffles. Close to shopping and restaurants. Very good location. "non-smoking room on smoking floor?"
traveled with 4 children, 3 small dogs. asked for non-smoking room. arrived and was told room was on second floor and where to access the stairs to the room. opened the door to the stairwell and was hit by the extremely strong odor of cigarette smoke. room didn't reak of smoke, but the entire 2nd floor hallway did. will not stay at this hotel again. "Days Inn Ankeny- Not very good quality"
Reserved a non-smoking room and got a room that had a no smoking sign but was smokey, smelled of smoke and had ash trays provided. Sat our 10 month old on the floor to play and he pulled trash out from under the bed. At least it was only a soda bottle but still... Wireless internet is password protected so you have to go to the front desk to get the […] password before using. Then it didn't work well anyways. Bathtub was gross. It was clean but permanently stained brown. This hotel room was okay because it was the only thing we could find and we had to stay somewhere in that area due to the death of a relative. "Half empty"
The room was half empty. There was no table and there was no chair of any type. Half the room was just empty space. Whenever I went to the front desk, it was not manned. "Ok for the money"
