The hotel intself was very cute, and in good condition. The little bar that has just recently opened was fantastic-great service, food and an entertaining bartender. The complimentary breakfast was also great-no buffet like normal hotels do, but a nice selection of 4 or 5 options to choose from, and a waitress serves you. The food was something I would […] certainly would have paid for, it was that good- not your average bagel/donut/cereal complimentary breakfast that is for sure. My complaint, and the reason for the lower rating is due to cleanliness. We found 2 different bug type things in the bed, throughout the evening. We tried to change rooms, as I did NOT want to sleep after seeing the first bug, but were only offered clean sheets. Then later, we found a gnat type thing in bed. I again, went to the front desk, and again was only offered clean sheets, I asked for a new room, and was told they booked solid. When I went to check out in the morning, I complained again, and they acted like I was exaggerating. Also, pay attention to your bill, because they automatically charge you to use the safe, and when you initial that you won't use the safe, the clerk told me that i would not charged the fee. Well, after checking out, and miles down the road, I looked at my receipt, and sure enough was charged for using the safe. Like I said, the hotel itself was nice, but i was not pleased with the bugs, and the lack of interest of the service team to try to remedy the situation.
