"Not as good as I thought"
After looking at many of the hotels in this area and reading many reviews, I decided to book this hotel because it seemed like a great value--great price, good location to D.C., comfortable bed, and very clean. However, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I was expecting a great room that was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, but the cleanliness […] of the room was a completely different story. It seemed like the housekeeping staff rushed to finish. There were hairs (that were not mine) in the shower, sink area, toilet, and trash can. There was toothpaste splatter on the cabinet in the bathroom as well as moldy mildew in the shower head. I was so concerned that I checked the sheets layer by layer to make sure they were laundered. I'm happy I packed a travel size Clorox wipes and would have definitely complained and switched my room if I hadn't already unpacked. Don't book this hotel if you are expecting a clean room. "Customer Service is not so good"
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and enjoyed it, but my most recent experience was poor. The ironing board in the room was old and dirty, my neighbors were very noisy, and the TV did not work properly.
