The room was fine. Service in the bar was ok.However, there was no one available to explain the pricing, etc for the buffet breakfast. There was a huge senior citizen group present, and since we four are seniors, I suppose the staff assumed we were part of the group and knew the routine. There was no sign available. Fortunately, two of our group had […] stayed in the hotel before and knew the prices for both the hot and cold breakfasts. We helped ourselves to the cold buffet, and we had to search out a server to request our check. I suggest that a sign be placed at the door to explain the system. Very clean and good for everyone. They do not have a restaurant, just a happy hour bar. They have a great swimming pool, however it is not heated during the winter. It was not freezing, but not warm enough for you to stay in for a long time. Bummer! But all in all, great hotel, will definitely stay again.

WE found dries fruit rine under one of the stools under the tv table. Also for the price we di expect a small refrigeitor and micro wave. Did not review the ammentitie fully when booking or we would have gone elsewhere. The first night at hotel we return from dinner out to find several menu and young boys sitting outside our room and their;s with beer […] cans lining the wall and chip bags. When we got to our room which was in the same area of theirs we had to step over them and between them to get into our room. Once in our room we did not hear them must due to ac and tv on. Then second evening we w arrive back to find boys looking to be about 8- 12 playing hockey in the hallway and it was kinda of a letdown for us think we had picked the right place to stay. Needed to be out of the house for a few nights due to remoldeling so it was okay for what we needed. Was not happy being on the first floor or not being able to rent movies. Lots of kids stay here due to the sports center.

For the cost, there were bugs in the tub, the fan in the bathroom didn't work it smelled musty, the outlets didn't work, the coffee was terrible and only one cup in the room, the hair dryer almost caught fire, and information on ammenities was not easy to find. The hotel is located directly off Hwy 495 on Rt 20. This sounds convenient, but is actually very difficult to reach if you're coming north on 495 you need to turn left almost immediately after exiting the 495 off-ramp onto 20E. We're originally from the area, and this hotel was always run-down and seedy. so, we were a little skeptical when we read the reviews. We were pleasantly suprised at the renovations. My boyfriend and I stayed here while in town for a birthday party. The staff was extremely friendly, our room was impeccably clean. For what I paid, I expected a more comfortable sleep. The AC was old and loud, it would cool the room, stop and start again 10 min. later when it would get worm!
