"Will not be a Repeat Sleeper at this one!"
Very dissatisfied! I wish I would have paid the extra $10.00 for a name brand hotel rather than trusting the Hotels.com "3.8" rating -- very smelly room like there was a dead body or mold in the near past they tried to "clean up" without spending the money to truly professionally clean it. "In dire need of an upgrade"

"Shocked by clogged & dirty drain"
Awful. The shower drain was clogged and filthy. No light bulb in the desk lamp. The TV wand didn't work, had to change channels & volume by hand (not necessarily a bad thing, except we were so tired.) And the pillows were hard! "Very dated"
In the past, Red Lion Hotels stood for quality, so I was disappointed at how dated and worn everything was. They have popcorn ceilings, 70's decorations, sagging beds and furniture that was probably nice in its day, but is worn, scuffed and dated now. Room had a very strange odor possibly coming from air conditioner. Sickening smell. Saw 3 different types of bugs in the room and bathroom. Front desk was unfriendly and indifferent when I related my issues to them. Lengthy check in because froint desk was on phone. Same at checkout. Coffee shop only food available. "Red Lion Medford - WOW I paid to be abused!"
at check in they only had one person on staff to accomidate the guest needs, and when i went to my room they only had shampoo and conditioner with a note card that read, if you need any other niceties that the hotel staff will bring it to your room and when i called for lotion, the front dest clerk said she was the only person on staff for the night, […] at 7:30 on a Friday and i would have to walk down over three buildings and two floors in the snow to get it. They offered free wifi and it didn't work at all, anywhere in the hotel all weekend, and the hotel front desk did not care to have it fixed on Saturday the lady at the front desk said it would cost too much to have some one come out to fix this problem over the weekend. all around cheep hotel experience, they really were cutting corners everywhere, and no hot continental breakfast at all which was part of the booking reservation, it read free breakfast. There breakfast buffet cost $4.95 per person and was charged to the room and was like a con-home! So Buyer Be Awair!!!!!!! just because of the Name doesn't mean it will be a good hotel.
