Nice hotel - convenient for a visit to Clemson University. Room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff provided very good service. "Ok cheap hotel"
Would be fine for a night or two. I stayed for a week. The train runs right behind the Hotel and shakes the bulding. It is not too loud but it affected my sleeping. The room was quite expensive and small. Surprisingly it had only a tiny bathroom with a toilet and shower and a sliding pocket door for privacy. The window was open but I didn't notice it until the next morning, which was actually frightening. The carpets needed a deep cleaning. The mirror over sink was dirty. "No Sleep at the Sleep Inn"
The Sleep Inn Hotel is a cute hotel that is ok but I wouldn't stay there again. The biggest problem is that you can't sleep at the Sleep Inn. After trying to adjust the heater/airconditioner several times, we could not get it to automatically go off every 3 min and very loudly. As a result we did not get any sleep. "Not worth what I was charged"
Be careful when scheduling a stay here. When events are scheduled at local Clemson University, expect the price to double what this hotel should cost for a night. I have stayed at other hotels in the area that were just as nice (standard hotel room) for half of what I was charged here. I was expecting much more for what I was charged.
