Very nice staff - great location - great breakfast -- older hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location"
Located close to Clemson, but also the Norfolk Southern mainline! Trains every half hour.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel in Noisy Location"
Nice hotel - convenient for a visit to Clemson University. Room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff provided very good service. But room was very noisy several times of the day/night because of the hotel's proximity to train tracks with trains that woke me at midnight, 3:00 am and 5:30 am!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"was ok for one night stay to visit university"
the hotel was average. was disappointed that hotel didn't offer hypo allergenic pillows/bedding. bathroom was extremely disappointing. shower stall was like one on a cruise ship.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Needed some maintenance, holes in wall, wall paper peeling. Needed a goid cleaning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok cheap hotel"
Would be fine for a night or two. I stayed for a week. The train runs right behind the Hotel and shakes the bulding. It is not too loud but it affected my sleeping. The hotel was under rentovations during my stay so your stay will likely be better than mine. Staff was nice, rooms were right out of the 70s, and beds were fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to campus of Clemson."
The hotel was very noisy walls are thin and you can hear everything.the train is annoying.day manager was a bit rude.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent"
AC didn't work even after they said they fixed it but overall a good hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"clemson universite"
overall was really nice room...small and small bathroom...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"2 out of 3"
Hotel service was good - personnel very nice - breakfast was very good - had 2 wonderful nights sleep - one night had a person overhead who was loudly thumping back and forth across the floor until after midnight - even after the desk asked them to quiet down. Would not stay in ground floor room again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was quite expensive and small. Surprisingly it had only a tiny bathroom with a toilet and shower and a sliding pocket door for privacy. There was not enough space in the bathroom to take our suitcase in there with us. There was not a closet either. The room and hotel were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and the dining room […] was pleasant and attractive. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"not impressive"
old and smelly room, but they were willing to move us into a better roomGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to campus"
Stayed here recently while we were visiting the Clemson campus for orientation. Very convenient and a welcome retreat from the busyness of the two day orientation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The window was open but I didn't notice it until the next morning, which was actually frightening. The carpets needed a deep cleaning. The mirror over sink was dirty. Wasn't the worst...not the best for the amount of money I paid for the night's stay. Front desk staff was very pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK for the price."
Hotel is a bit run down, but was ok for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
Older hotel. Well kept. No tub in room just shower. Room was at end next to RR track. I thought that might be a problem but the train did not bother us. Staff was friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No Sleep at the Sleep Inn"
The Sleep Inn Hotel is a cute hotel that is ok but I wouldn't stay there again. The biggest problem is that you can't sleep at the Sleep Inn. After trying to adjust the heater/airconditioner several times, we could not get it to automatically go off every 3 min and very loudly. As a result we did not get any sleep. Not worth what we paid which was a […] lot considering it was a college Graduation weekend. We were there for other reasons and that was the closest hotel available to Walhalla, SC Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reasonable/clean Clemson accomodations"
Sleep Inn in Clemson is clean, updated and fairly priced against it's competitors. It has easy access to campus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth what I was charged"
Be careful when scheduling a stay here. When events are scheduled at local Clemson University, expect the price to double what this hotel should cost for a night. I have stayed at other hotels in the area that were just as nice (standard hotel room) for half of what I was charged here. I was expecting much more for what I was charged. I wouldn't have […] minded paying this price if the hotel were more upscale but it was a standard room, nothing fancy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel in Clemson SC"
Nice clean hotel with comfortable room. Unfortunately, the night was disturbed by screaming girls on the West Virginia lacrosse team who were also on our floor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
