Red Roof Inn Seattle Airport - SEATAC

The hotel has just updated each room - very well done (except the newness smell was a bit strong so we had to have our windows open for quite a while). This place is amazing, I just hope they continue the good deal. I've used this Red Roof Inn many times as being handy for an early flight - since I live on Bainbridge Island and some early flights are […] hard to make. This time our flight came in at midnight, so we stayed over until a nicer time in the morning. The shuttle is always quick and courteous. Rooms are very clean. The front desk person is always efficient but could usually use a little better customer acknowledgement skills - we often stand in line and seem to be totally invisible until it is our turn. the front desk worker was very friendly and helpful. It was very cheeap compaired to other hotels (not motels) in the area. There was no parking on they're main lot but we were able to park at the master park across the street free of charge!

It was great everything from the flat screens to the balconies, it was also a great price. Just alot of foot traffic in the parking lot below the balcony.

we visited Seattle, and stayed at another hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle, but needed a hotel close to the SeaTac airport for our early morning departure on the last day. this is a good value, but one criticism…i did not appreciate the vending machines which only operated with credit cards. there was no receipt provided, and i don’t even know […] if the charges were/are correct or how to dispute such if there were errors. also, the previous occupants in the room left something in the room’s refrigerator and housekeeping overlooked it. other than that, the price was right, the location was what was needed, and the cleanliness was pretty good (other than the oversight in the fridge). We needed a hotel quickly as my partner had food poisoning while we were travelling.. This hotel was clean, rooms were very spacious, excellent location next to the airport with free parking and free shuttle to and from the airport. I was pleasantly surprised!

We were on day 8 or 9 in this hotel when there was a loud knock on our door. Three police officers wanted to come in our room to investigate reports of a chemical smell coming from our room. Descent hotel for the price. Quiet, not a bad neighborhood (what do you expect by the airport?). Exactly what I expected, so I was not surprised. The room COULD have had a bit more furniture in it, but oh well. All I needed was a descent bed to sleep in. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

After researching hotels near the airport, this looked to be the best hotel in our price range (we weren't looking to spend much time there). To start, we called from the airport for the free shuttle - an HOUR later and 3 phone calls, we find out the shuttle is actually from a different hotel, but no one told us that!! Then, the hotel was very dirty […] and smelled awful! The elevator was broken. Before arriving, I was told by a hotel employee that we could catch a shuttle to downtown literally across the street - turns out we had to walk all the way to the airport to get the shuttle. The room was awesome... the grounds weren't bad but the lobby wasn't really fantastic. The elevator was not very nice at all in fact I didn't want to touch anything.
