This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. When I got into my room there were dirty towels and rags in the bathtub and no clean ones. The floor was filthy so I couldn't take my socks off the entire time. The only trash can had not been emptied and there was no iron. "Basic motel near airport"
We stayed here overnight as close to airport and cheap. Nothing fancy, but quieter than sky view motel where I also stayed. Surrounding area didn't have much for services but one IHOP is walking distance. Service was not great but I wasn't expecting much. Considering the fact that this place had supposedly had a recent makeover according to the ads we were disappointed. "Convenient and Inexpensive"
Shuttle van came promptly when we called and quickly took us back in the morning. We only stayed their to sleep between flights. We requested a room change due to noise and the friendly desk manager did so without any fuss. The heater was noisy so we shut it off. WE stayed overnight to catch a flight out the next morning. The room was okay, but there was terrible mold behind the toilet. The beds were creaky,but it was quiet, and we left our vehicle there for 8 days for a good deal, okay for an over night stay and spot to leave our car. This hotel had ok beds, small rooms, very little lighting, non existent staff (other then when one of them came in the room and made one of the beds without us knowing they were supposed to), and tiny tiny towels and only two of them, and was just cramped and uncomfortable! "Very Disappointing"
I reserved a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room. While it appeared mostly clean, the carpet next to the bathroom was soaked - an unpleasant surprise. I was instructed to leave my car unlocked with a key in the ignition so it could be parked by a valet, but when I got up the next morning to take the shuttle to the airport my car was still […] sitting in the same place, unlocked, with the key in the ignition. The attendant later told me that I was supposed to have brought the key inside, and I can only hope that the car was moved and secured appropriately after I left; I won't know the answer to that for another week and a half. The room smelled like smoke. Only one light worked, and the heater was busted. It was 1 am and we'd just flown in though, so we didn't feel like making a stink about it, just went to sleep and left in the morning. The linens were torn and the furniture was literaly falling apart. I opened a cabinet looking for a phone book and the door was barely holding on by one hinge. The furniture was scarred and worn. Plane was delayed so we did not arrive till 2:30 a.m. Had phoned early in the day and again when delayed to ask for a nonsmoking ground floor room, as booked.
