"The devil is the detail!"
Greeted with an un-announced $20++ per night charge for parking. Internet in the room was $10++ per night. Even the newspaper was charged.Coffee maker was defective and there a serious risk of electrocution as it was standing in an inch of water!!!. radio alarm was 12 hours out sync which had I not noticed we risked missing our flight. The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the airport property and provides shuttles to the airport every 20 minutes. Also, the hotel has an expresso bar in the main lobby which is very conveient. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. "Nothing works"
Lobby, restaurant upgraded and very nice. Food good. Outside appearance old. Room looked O.K. but nothing worked. The room was too hot so I tiried to adjust the temperature but fluctuated all over the place so I turned it off. Internet did not work- too far out for the wireless to work but the wired did not work either. Switched to TV- remote: had to […] press down on button hard then takes forever to change channels. Shower handle had to spin counterclockwise about 10 revoultions to get water to come out. Alam clock would not set. light flickering in bathroom all the time. "Not sure if it's worth the money"
I thought i'd treat myself to a comfortable overnight. Well when i got there to check in i waited about 15 minutes in line. Then i was given a room in one of the wings that i had to drive to but the signs are not clear so i ended up driving around in circles looking for where to park for my wing... My room only had a standing shower so if you want a […] bathtub make sure you ask. Room service adds gratuity to your bill but when they bring the food there is a space on the bill for gratuity so it is misleading and I ended up paying gratuity twice. I had only a few hours for sleep and not only was the room extremely clean but the shuttle driver - Troy was amazing and the front desk staff were attentive and friendly. "clean but bell service lacking"
I chose this hotel because of the ratings. Location is close to airport which is good. The room was smaller than expected for the price but very clean. My disappointment was upon my arrival there was no bellhop to help or cart handy for luggage. I man-handle two 50lb, one carry-on bag, and a large computer case up the front stairs before receiving help. […] When checking out around four the next morning I called the desk for a bellhop, letting the clerk know I wanted to be on the next shuttle. After waiting several minutes, knowing I’d miss the shuttle if I waited longer, (again no cart in sight) I man-handled all my luggage down the length of two very longs halls, through the public area past the restaurant and hotel store, and finally around the corner to the front desk. What didn’t set well with me was while I was huffing and puffing like an old work horse pulling my luggage I saw the bell-hop lazily shuffling around his desk in the front lobby as though he didn't have a care in the world. I paid a high price for my stay so that I’d have help on a lengthy journey. Any high quality hotel has bellhops who are eagerly waiting to help you and understand the meaning of service. I’m not a fussy or demanding person and understand if things are busy, but this was not the case. My experience was distasteful enough that I will not stay in this hotel again. Overall, it was a great stay. Clean rooms & public areas. Relaxed ambiance. Very friendly & helpful staff. Lots of comfy nooks & crannies to hang out in and chat with big chairs and tables all over the hotel. This is a large hotel, so if you have a problem walking, please let the desk know so they can locate you appropriately. The food is really pricey […] at the hotel, but everything I had was good (breakfast buffet, sandwiches and snacks). There is a Taco Bell, a Jack in the Box and Dave's Diner within a short walking distance. Wouldn't do that too late at night, however. I enjoy staying at this hotel, and have stayed several times. My only issue with this specific stay was that our room was only 59 degrees when we arrived at 11pm, and only heated up to 67 by the time we woke up in the morning. We loved the room we stayed in. It felt private and clean and stylish. The room service, however, was deeply disappointing. The food was CRAZY expensive, mediocre, and in very small portions.
